You are free to redistribute this patch as long
as you include this readme.

We do not approve distribution of the patch
with pirated copies of the full game.

>> No.2265718

I dont give a shit if you approve or not.

>> No.2265721

Sounds like a fair deal.
Where can I get the patch? Do I need to travel to Japan for it?

>> No.2265727

>>2265721
The problem is that the patch is in Japan, but the readme is in Zimbabwe.

Hur, like anyone actually buys VNs.
I laugh at those idiots who seriously pay twice or more the price just to ship them from moonland.

I like how Mirror Moon actually believed people could find legitimate copies of Tsukihime.

I own more eroge/VN than I've played.

Then we should persuade /k/ to help us retrieve the holy readme file. I hear they'd like to kick Mugabe's ass.

We'll need diamonds as well.
Should we ask /v/ ?

Why not? The more the merrier.

Why?

The eroge industry is very small compared to most other mass-media producers. Even the most popular titles only sell in the ten-thousands. There's extremely good games that have sold in the thousands (Himawari) or even mere hundreds (BokuKimi). And if you don't have retarded hobbies that consume money, like attending concerts, sports events, buying computing hardware that's 10x more powerful than you actually need, playing WoW or buying shit like figs that serve no purpose other than taking photos of and posting on /jp/, you tend to have quite a lot of disposable income. What the hell is wrong with using it to support an industry that makes things you like?

>> No.2266127

>>2265737
I doubt it. I think most VN translation groups put that in so that the publishers look on fan translations in a positive light.

>> No.2266133

>>2266127
Plus, the majority of the people who worked on the Tsukihime translation project were using pirated versions of Tsukihime anyway.

While not true in general, there certainly are a bunch of people who can apparently afford all sorts of expensive merchandise like figures.

I keep meaning to make some kind of gloriously melodramatic Soviet propaganda poster with the GREAT STRENGTH OF THE PROLETARIAT bringing the hammer down to BREAK THE SUPPORT DISC.

I haven't done it because I haven't found an appropriate art piece.

I am pretty sure typemoon earn some merchandise royalty whenever you buy their figs.

They should be laughing to the bank with the saber lily figs.
