Hair styles change based on texting events that gauge your preferences, and sometimes your girl just shows up with a new hairstyle on a date and you can tell her to keep it or change it back. Bear in mind that changes only happen on the next date, so if she dyes her hair ugly, you're going to see it for a little while.

Clothing is a bit more of a mystery, but that's more because nobody wants to waste tickets on the current trash selection.

There's no PVP, but without the pots you'll very quickly be stuck playing once a day given the 10 hour cooldown on dates if you don't level up. With 14k stamina, you can max out all your shit very easily, all of my cards are just waiting for the encyclopedia item you get from dailies to finish them off.

The season did just reset today so everyone's been brought back down to the lower ranks, might be worth waiting a bit or playing ranked during evening hours in Japan to get a broader playerbase.
Unless you really care about the seasonal card, I'd just play one ranked match a day for seven days for the Voidoll costume and then play the arena for the rest. You can get 50 days of Prime for 1BM (paid, of course) so that'll increase your chip slots to 6.

At S3/4 I usually play with a deck level of 130 and find that most of my opponents have 140/150 (with the rare 200/240, which is aids). It can feel annoying but you just need to capitalise on their mistakes or rape them with stuns, silences and poison.

Compass has updated and the final season of the year has started. The season will run until the 22nd - play one ranked match a day for 7 days to earn Voidoll's Santa costume. Win 20/40/60 ranked matches to earn up to three 128GB chips, and lastly 128GB chips will have a chance of dropping after a victory until the 16th.

Fate stuff is still ongoing - there will be a double UR gacha on the 22nd, which is also your last chance to earn any event tickets. You will have until the 23rd to actually spend those tickets.

For 3rd Anniversary stuff, there are three single-pull UR gachas available from now until the 25th (one per element). There are also class-specific hero gachas running from now until the 31st. Finally, you have until the 17th January to purchase 50 days of Prime for just 1BM. It has to be paid BM, but you can buy 120 for like 90p.

Most people can't get into chink, they are all waiting for either JP or Global release, but global release might be fucked with the chance that the tranny localization team get their hands on it.

I play chink version, and I can tell you it is quite quality with UI being smooth and sexy, while gameplay is fun and very open for several ways to win. Not gacha reliant to beat stages.

It's definitely one of my least favourite aspects of the game, but at the very least the seasonal cards are practically worthless. I did just notice that they massively bumped up the reward bracket - you are guaranteed the card if you're in at least the top 40,000 (previously 20,000) and you get two of the data chips if you rank between 40,001 ~ 60,000, which have a good chance of giving the card. Not sure if this is permanent or just for this month.

Varies between each hero because of casting speeds, damage output and their abilities, but generally:
Attackers -> close ranged nukes, movement slow/buff
Gunners -> ranged cards, self/team damage buffs, disables
Sprinters -> Multiple shields/healing cards, stuns, damage cards, teleport cards
Tanks -> Teleports, lots of healing, stuns

It all varies though, for example with Marcos you don't really want any attack cards, and some gunners are good with close ranged cards. What heroes do you have/are most comfortable with?

Morgana seems like a great Mariel replacement if anyone wanted to start but didn't want to bother rerolling for Mariel because of the 1000~1500 fixed heal. Has wind buff 50%+ and 15% triple debuff too along with a wind XL AoE with increased damage to poisoned targets that hits twice if you're hitting weakness.
Joker's (S) fire AOE hits harder than Aldo's XL AOE at full HP, Megidolaon as a XL null AOE and a 3x XL pierce skill with guaranteed crit along with a VC that does pierce damage when swapping in.

Their passive allows them to hit twice if hitting weakness so 3x becomes 6x and one hit becomes two hits so they look like amazing newbie units that will be around permanently if anyone was looking to start Another Eden for them or was just waiting for a good time to start. The 1000 free deal is still ongoing so you can just reroll for some gacha 5* then go get these two for two really nice units on the global server.

Marcos - I most often see at least two shields (50% + 100% most often, also the instant cast 100% shield), heal and damage buff. You can also use a movement slow, just stick to things that will let you kill with your stick

Tadaomi - close ranged nukes are the best for him due to his hero ability increasing their damage and decreasing their cooldown, but also simply due to how fast he casts them. Barrage cards are alright, but close is best. He's good with 50% and 100% shields.

Venus - He's fun to play. You want cards that apply his mark, so ranged is the best. Poison is good for the damage tick, and if you have the global debuff you can use that too. I typically use a ranged poison + ranged stun.

Megumegu - I usually go for a defence debuff + shield break so that I can deal good damage with her main attacks and kill anyone who gets too close to me. Damage buff also works and applies to her deployable turret. Short and long ranged cards are her fastest - she works well with a ranged piercing or ranged stun to follow into the dual gatling, but lifesteal and normal damage cards work well also.

Luciano - Ranged cards benefit from his hero ability and they're generally recommended as he's a slow fuck who can't run away. Any ranged card is good - stun, lifesteal, hero skill drain, piercing. He's also fast at casting close ranged cards so a shield break, nuke or even stun are good for dealing with attackers/sprinters.

Zack - My go-to for him is a close range nuke + shield break + heal + 100% shield. His casting speed for the other card types is slow so I don't really recommend them that much. You can also sacrifice the heal for another card (more damage or more protection) and rely on Ray for healing

Voidoll - AoE and close ranged cards are best for their speed, but she's very versatile in how to play. You can focus on using damage cards to wear enemies down and maybe kill the odd one, or use stuns and silences for disabling the enemy and holding a point. Alternatively you can use a portal key teleport, shield, heal and stun/silence to go for point C right at the start.

Tanks are all pretty similar across the board with the exception of Thomas. Usually you go with a portal key teleport for the start of the match and complement that with a shield (instant cast preferable, 50% is good), heal and stun/silence. With Jeanne I would usually go teleport + 50% shield + heal + heal over time. Monokuma is also a bit different as he has good casting times for ranged cards, so I'm always seeing people use poison and silence cards on him.

They aren't. Most likely, they're planning on earning money through event exclusive cards with new dialogue, although even that is tough.

By making a game where everything is fully voiced, they've naturally created a much higher workload, and they're already a lazy company who has farmed the game out to a third party. I feel like the event schedule for this game is going to be total dogshit, one event a month with a single new voice line or something. Don't forget that all the content currently in the game is just ripped directly from the older titles, only the models have had an update.

I have 3 4*s, and already I don't really care about rolling because 3*s are good enough to S rank everything anyway, and the dialogues you unlock are shared. Having girl specific cards only means a tiny boost to love meter during dates, which, again, is worthless because past level 40 you should very easily be maxing out at 1000 every single time, given a 5 DP date gives you 6 slots and level 3 girl cards max out at about 188 points, and you'll have enough that you can rotate between them when your girl gets sick of them.

The game is just an endless date grind in the hopes that you'll get the RNG result you want, and your girl will change her hair to the one you want. Past level 40, leveling doesn't even give you anything, no extra friend slots, no extra stamina cap. Maybe at 50 I'll get another 1 stamina or something, but it's slowed to a crawl.

You've got to remember that this game has been delayed for 2 years, and this is the state it releases in. There's literally no content. It doesn't even seem like they had an event planned for November.

The way the game is structured, the best you can hope for is a couple of crappy VR dates a year, I mean they can't even get the swimsuit one out until summer, and they had to give us the 2017 demo one as a welcome back gift.

I wish this game had some backing behind it, but it's going to be dead in a year. After roughly ~10 days worth of stamina, I'm completely out of reasons to keep playing, and I still have almost 200 pots to speed through any events that come out.

I like the concept, it's just sad that it's been handled so poorly. Mobage seems like the natural evolution of Love Plus, constant date events really don't require much aside from a new background and some exclusive dialogue, and the game's longevity is massively increased. The paywall doesn't seem too punishing, although with no sources of in-game currency aside from 50 a day and login bonuses, you're going to hit a wall fast if you're interested in event cards.

I feel like this was just a third rate IP outsource when they had gold dust, and the game won't survive longer than a year. Giving old players 300 stamina pots also means that the lack of content is even more glaring, so the general perception is going to be awful, even if we pretend nobody cared about the month long maintenance.

Since so many of you started to talk about Love Plus, I downloaded and played it a bit yesterday. I like it so far, why is it so hard to get tickets for clothing? The cost is insane with the 80 tickets daily and I can't find a way to pay for it with real money.

Clothing tickets are mainly given out as login rewards and presumably during events. You're not going to get many of them from dailies, and given an outfit stays in the store for about 3 months, you should barely get enough to buy an 8000 item just from them.

I think it's a reasonable rate, honestly. But then, I already have 12k saved up from all the freebies. If you care about socks and shit, you might have a hard time.

It suffers from the lack of emotional impact during story highnotes, so don't go playing it for story. The gameplay is alright but it has no damn flair to the graphics and effects for your attacks. It all feels like wet noodles.

Gacha is stingy, and you don't interact with your gacha units, if you compare them to story units, then they have like 2% of the content compared to the story ones.

Is just lackluster in everyway.

Other than you not providing source, is not super weird that the start of LovePlus is going to be rocky. It was delayed 2 years, the new launch got fucked by free gacha since the devs are retarded, and the compensation either ended very early or was only for people with account, clothing currency being expensive + auto farming relying on high lvled cards. We will have to see how KONAMI deals with the game updates and how good the seasonal contents will be.

Gating limit breaking behind such a brutal grind for even 1 star units was not a good idea. If you don't set macros it's basically impossible to beat the B maps unless you spend hours upon hours grinding fragments, which is a lot to ask for a new IP when the gameplay it's not even that fun.
And let's not talk about the systems upon systems that you have to go through to optimize your units.
