Reisen starts off as a stereotypical Lunarian asshole who looks down on everyone and tries to pretend she isn't a part of earth. She can't stand Tewi, humans, or anything about earth, and she praises to merits of the Moon. This is despite the fact that she went AWOL and is completely piss-afraid of the Moonies coming back for her.

She *very slowly* opens up, as in this takes like a fucking decade or more, and it shows in how she starts off visiting the village as a medicine seller in FULL human disguise (DESPITE everyone knowing she's a rabbit, because it's outright stated that the villagers are sold medicine by youkai rabbits but that's okay because it's good medicine), but veeery gradually reveals more of herself. She lets her hair out, let's her red eyes show, and finally has no problem with her ears being obvious. She also starts decrying the Moon over time, first complaining about their slavery and then, around LoLK, admitting that she isn't a Lunar Rabbit anymore, she's an Earth one (said while looking on the land fondly). Throughout LoLK it's shown that she's lost her "purity" and that she is outright not happy with Lunarians, though she does respect Sagume and she does still largely appreciate her old rabbit comrades. LoLK was her first declaration that she's an earth rabbit. Really big deal.

This isn't the end of her arc. She has the cowardice thing, in that she fled the Lunar War because she was terrified, she's petrified of Lunarians coming to take her back, she has little confidence in herself and she's kind of pathetic (despite being, by all accounts, the most competent of Moon Rabbits). Tewi for instance runs circles around her and leaves her exasperated, and she gets in trouble when she does side business outside of Eirin's knowledge. About the conclusion of Reisen's arc is addressing her pathetic heart now that she's accepted earth.

In ULiL PS3 ver. after discovering the perfect possession incident (to be elaborated on in AoCF), she explains this to Eirin who says "fuck that, not our business", however Reisen believes it very much is her business and vows to herself to do something about it. She wants to save the earth because a problem on earth is HER problem. She will defy Eirin if it means saving others.

She isn't the person who fixes everything in AoCF but she does try and it is revealed that, inside, she now thinks of herself as a hero (she is, it's cute).
