You need specific units like Dina or Wendy to breeze through the tower. Off the top of my head, Ingrid and Shu-xian are very useful too, while Fiore and Kurama can stealth cheese the really troublesome maps. Rinne is nice too but I felt that she was easily replacable by most healers or any other 8-gates feng shui and is only useful for her lower cost in few maps. Look up some videos; if you're missing certain units then you're going to have to be creative.

I think plat Solais is more effective overall. Most of the time you'll want black Solais for her SAW, but devtea is really stingy with those hero skill up fairies for whatever reason.

I am trying to think of a floor where Rinne is absolutely necessary. Most floors can be done without a healer.
Floors 1-8 sans 6 have been cleared using free units.
Stealth is useful on 12 but it isn't a requirement for the healer.
I personally used Kururu on 14 for a higher score.
17 is hard but there are strategies using the dragon shamans, b. iris, or even no healer at all.
I'll give you 20 because the other alternatives are gacha blacks, but Fiore is much better here and there's even a strat that doesn't use a healer.

When she debuted, she had a 10-second duration, no AW2, and no multipliers on her SAW. Given her much higher cost, much longer CD, and unimpressive combat performance, she wasn't much more useful than Leona unless RNG royally fucked you.

Most people aren't going to rag on her, anymore. It helps that we've been getting content which is difficult enough to make good use of on-demand invincibility. Hostile true damage is still rare enough as to not impair nullification.

How do I use Elmira? She doesn't seem any better than regular armor. In fact she's less tanky and can block less.

They overhauled most of it. Gameplay is completely different UI is completely different, no idea what's going on behind it now either. They also added a bunch of new art for characters. I distinctly remember new art for my cute clown on the website at some point so they may have added another layer of evolution.

Elmira is not your primary tank. She can hold the line if needed for a second but her role is to cover half the map with rapid fire aoe shells to decimate groups, damage lurking bosses or kill off leaks. On her own she is not that op, but she boosts imperial knights and artillery. You absolutely want and need Diana and Viola as a front line and Elias and Sandy in the back to raise everyone's magic resists above flamebaitzero. You also want Leora for 20% more infinite everything and Leona as a ohshitbotton incase of true damage bullshit or extreme hard hitters making it through. This creates a formation that can withstand almost anything while dishing out extreme levels of damage over long ranges. Add Marika and you get everyone tokenized and even more range. Now go and roll, the dumbster isn't diving itself.

Right now the Raid Boss is weak to White-types so focus on levelling and evolving those girls so you can some of the rewards from the Raid Boss quests (I doubt you'll be able to get all of them though). Put a Healer-type as leader so your Oracle Assist will give everyone regen during battles.

Once you get enough resources to level up your Oracle Assit, put everything into Tricky. This is vital as almost all of the battle system heavily favours how fast your characters are. Which is one of the main reasons why Unitia is terrible.

A regular heal for all undead combined with high attack from her ability thanks to all the undead deployed, and a 150% affection bonus that reduces the already short coolddown even further is great. And SAW will revive any Undead killed earlier in the mission. Plus with so many tokens that are undead while also not counting toward the deployment limit, you can max out her power with fewer actual units on a team. So far, no new classes have come dealing with undead at all for nearly 2 years now, just new units. You'll be fine.

I don't know how Mikoto stacks up these days. She used to be broken early in the game. It was kind of a big deal that she could solo Phalanx 2, for example. Nowadays half the blacks in the game can do that, if not more. And a bunch of other plats and maybe even some golds. She's gotten some buffs and AW2 over the years, but I really don't know if she's worth anything anymore. I'm jealous of you and the other anon getting her, though. I used to have her on Nutaku but never have been able to get her on my DMM account.
