Miku is the most popular probably because she was the first (more) anime style Vocaloid on a better and easier to use software (Vocaloid 2). It's possible that any other Vocaloid in the same situation would be the Miku (and Crypton was competent in giving her some strong marketing push once she was getting popular). And once people loved her, any attempt to make her less robotic would inevitably not catch on (like append).

If you're talking about Europe then I went to London, non-VIP and it kinda sucked since we were standing pretty far back and despite being 6"2 could barely see over the numerous in front trying to record the whole concert on their phones. Still had tonnes of fun, it was my first Miku concert. Bumped into people a few times, got bumped into a few times, but nobody seemed to care (but I imagine it was probably worse nearer the front). Not sure about elsewhere but the London venue this year should be much better - considering it's actually a concert venue this time with a sloping floor.

Most well-behaved was when I saw a guerilla concert for Man with a Mission in London in a venue that had a capacity of 350, most people recorded maybe the beginning of a song before putting it away and enjoying it
