I used to believe that the internet would always be there, that everything that goes on the internet stays there forever. How foolish. Day after day shit I used to like disappears and entire websites vanish. In the future all that's gonna be left is r*ddit and its sanitized communities, censored social media and kosher news websites.

Lamenting something like this shutting down is kind of weird, since Drawr's basically still a content collecting social media site. Artists still use individual homepages with their art, even if they have twitters they use them to keep links to all their accounts and information on where to buy their works if they put out things. You'll just eventually have to go back to web 1.0 and bookmark all the sites. It's probably for the best.

Plenty of artists just don't repost their stuff. It's more common for an artist to actively delete their art than keep it, especially the kind of stuff you'd see on a site like Drawr.
