What game do you want to play? Taiko's relatively easy, there's a serviceable console port.
If you're looking for Bemani games, it's a bit more difficult. You're going to need to find a controller suitable for that game (don't skimp out, Yuancon/Gamo2 make good cons for most non-dance games), and then the HDD data for those games. I can't link that on here, nor can I really point in the direction you need to go for legal reasons, but googling /1cc/ and digging through those archives is your next best shot.
Also, do more research on the game you want to play and make friends with people. Because of the state of the Bemani community, most shit cannot be made public without the risk of Konami bringing down the hammer, but most people are totally happy to just tell you what you need to know in DM's on discord if you're not a dick.
And as a final note, stay off this thread. This thread is the dumping ground for people who couldn't stop saying nigger in other communities.

Yes. Theres a Taiko, a DDR Supernova 2, a DJMax Technika 2 and soon another Taiko and a Groove Coaster 2 (offline sadly) in Berlin. Place is only open on fridays though. Also a PIU in a random Nike store in the Europacenter in Berlin which is in constant freeplay.

Is Plife actually any different from other trackers out there? I've been out of bemani stuff for like 8 years and was recently getting back in and there seems to be a lot of other trackers than sows now but it seems like it's variants of the same shit, same with the networks. The game is pretty overt about shuffling. All the tutorials are for shuffling. There are only a handful of charts that don't lend themselves to it.
Some parts of the charts are abstracted. Unless you've played the advanced tutorials you wouldn't necessarily recognize that you don't need the game to explicitly tell you when you can do a running man or t-step. That flexibility is where people can choose to do it how they want to. There's not necessarily any one right way to play, the game just strongly encourages you to shuffle though.
But at the end of the day the game itself doesn't care exactly how you're hitting notes.

I honestly don't play much Groove Coaster, and when I do I don't play anime or pop licenses.
Looking at a video of the songlist for the Switch version there seems to be a mix of covers and the original songs. Taiko licenses are almost entirely covers.
