Is it just me, or does anyone elses think that Yumeko is massively overrated and that ZUN shouldn't had even bothered to think her up? I think her concept detracts from the games due to the fact that all she is a foil to Shinki, who is HIGHLY interesting character compared to the stupidity that is Yumeko. Frankly speaking, Yumeko is better forgotten.

She sucks, but that's fine. This is a STG; the characters are supposed to suck.

Japanese ZUN isn't a fool; he knows that truly well-developed and interesting characters have no place in this game genre. I know I don't play these games for the characters.

For the game, I think its just a distraction and/or effort to see the boss/hear the boss theme.
