God. Too many people are misunderstanding Shirou's character. He's very moral and ethical but is perfectly logical and mentally developed when dealing with every other subject except sexuality. So when faced with a situation in which anyone else would understand sexual conotations, Shirou would come up with a perfectly logical view, colored by his own large sense of moral responsability -- and be totally devoid of any understanding of the sexual conotation, thereby utterly mistaking the event for something else.

Posting a Shirou image in a thread bears with it a responsability to depict Shirou's thoughts and words in their most correct form. Otherwise you'll rob 4chan of his valuable comedic effect.

Because he wants to be a superhero, he rarely does anything proactive and usually waits for an opportunity to arise where he can help, or when someone asks him directly.

His first thought is always 'how can I help', rather than 'what's going on' or 'how do I go about not making things worse' and that can be really confusing for other people to deal with.

He's basically Japan's version of the Tick: Single-mindedly focused on his ideal of heroism and being nigh-invulnerable. (in Fate anyway)
