I think it becomes quite doable later after you understand all the mechanics in game. The game did quite a poor job explaining them so it would take time for people to figure them out.
My biggest problem is the poor AI can't handle those mechanics, so they just suicide rush all your unit straight into enemy, which makes auto extremely inefficient.

Regarding the release date, it became too difficult for them to release both the Japanese and English version together in 2019 as it was initially promised. After unlocking them by clearing stage 5 on a map except maps 0 or 1 you can send out girls to find stages to clear for you.
The shorter the time the better the rewards. After clearing a stage you can also scavenge for additional rewards.
You can do them certain times every day for free, after that it requires an item. Make sure to do at least the free ten minute one every day, it gives gems for clearing.
Other rewards are medals for the shop and personality implant boxes, some lucky fuckers also have gotten free gacha tickets.

Finally figured out the Personality Expansion and Personality Implant system in Ash Arms. The Expansion has a passive skill that requires a certain amount of energy to be active; other than that it's just a slot holder for implants. Each Expansion has a different slot layout and energy requirement.

Each Implant buffs two of the 10 (or 11 if you count Reaction) stats on the equipped DOLL, one by a large amount and one by a smaller amount, with larger buffs being granted by Implants with lower energy. Your goal is thus to meet only the bare minimum of energy required by the Expansion to activate its skill, using your remaining slots to pack in high statboost Implants.

Higher tier Implants only seem to grant bigger stat buffs without actually changing the energy supplied. I may be wrong because I haven't acquired tier III or higher Implants yet.

Blue Implants grant ++Evasion and +Accuracy, while yellow gives ++Armor and +Luck. The ++stat gets 3%/5%/8% from an Implant with +2/1/0 energy, while the +stat gets 2%/3%/5%. Screenshots or text for red, green, and purple Implants would be appreciated - no other Expansions have dropped for me yet.

Red is accuracy/crit rate, green is accuracy/luck, and purple is penetration/crit damage. I'm too lazy to screenshot every stat distribution across colors, but the red/green implants break from the stat pattern a bit, moreso the reds. And yes, higher tier ones are straight upgrades for each energy amount. Larger energy providers seem to be a higher tier thing, as I've only gotten a +3 energy from a tier 3 implant. Have some super useless information. The base and remodeled versions of characters don't share health pools, so you can leave their base at low health for low cost teams or whatever. They also don't share reserve pools, so don't spend too much alloy on reserves if you plan to remodel someone soon.

From experience, I think yes. If you look at your team deploy cost it will go up when you replace destroyed (though not damaged) units, indicating each dummy in a unit will cost you. The cost to build dupes via mass production stays the same, you just have to make more of them for a full repair.
