My experience with Magic Eyes' dual layers is that most of them are really thin to the point the inner layer blends right into the outer layer at some spots. The fragility makes them very prone to damage, so they don't last long. If you are worried about money just get the hole. You don't need a bag, lots of people store their holes in the plastic carrier it came in.
