Have an autistic younger sibling, it's aggravating, annoying, depressing, embarrassing, and disappointing. It's supposed to be normal to have unconditional love towards your siblings, but I don't feel anything towards them except contempt. It's not the same emotional connection you'd have to a normal younger brother/sister compared to an autistic one.

Then there's the added stress and obligation of having to look out for them when we're adults because of how socially inept and gullible they are.

I'm pretty sure not having these feelings while your sibling's disabled is completely normal, since I also saw this kind of attitude with a Catholic friend of mine that had a brother in special ed whom he disliked being with him given everyone laughed at him or so.

The thing that everyone wants is having a non-edgy weird and socially awkward sister, girlfriend and/or wife given it has always been cute to see such innocence when we do not have those personality traits.
Assuming everyone in /jp/ is a NEET but not socially awkward like /a/, of course.

Either way, I think we went a little too far.

I don't think Patchouli is quite an autist, just a shy, reclusive, maybe somewhat emotionally stunted NEET. ZUN's writing is weird and can make a lot of characters sound autistic if you read it the right way. I think Mokou is an outcast and a weirdo but not really an autist because she has too much of a "cool" aura.

It's mostly a catch-all term/meme to describe her weirdness, it's not actual autism (if Koishi had a disorder, it would probably be something like ADHD).
What happened is that closing her third eye had a side effect: she lost her conscious Ego, so her actions are now driven by the unconscious.

Flandre's not autistic, once again some fanon shit. She's weird but so is every single 2hu.
Koishi's the closest thing Touhou has to autistic, and saying Koishi is autistic is an incredible understatement.

Everyone else is just childishly idiotic (fairies, low ranking-youkai like Rumia), ignorant (Kosuzu), or pretending (Suwako and Yuyuko). People like Nitori and Reimu have their obsessions but so does very many normal people.
Everyone else is just weird, as it should be.

Flandre definitely behaves differently than most of the other "weird" characters. She struggles socializing with others and when engaged in conversation often interrupts people to go on strange personal tangents without much provocation. She's also described as "emotionally unstable" and a shut-in. Obviously no character in the series is canonically suffering from any mental disorders, but I could kind of see how people would associate Flandre with having one.

I don't think Nitori or Nazrin really fit the type C category. From what I have seen of those types in life, they become focused on their specific favorite machinery to the point of absolute obsession. Nitori seems more of a generalist and Nazrin never struck me as a savant

Where did you find this picture? Who drew it? I'd like to see more from this author. I may just reverse Google search every search engine in existence to find this artist. lol Looking at such images is nice enough that I am inspired to make art of my own. I have a strong drive to create art. Man, it would be nice to be left in peace. But this urge is always here, I am consumed by an interest to make art. It's not a detriment to my efforts to have greater inspiration, though. I'm never gonna hold back on that component. Consider it a basic human need for me, basic areas of health and this. lol

I figured lots of people on /jp/ have autism. Touhou has visually appealing spellcards, lots of brightly colored characters, and lots of content to obsess over.
