Had a read of the prologue for 黒白のアヴェスター and thought it was alright. Looking forward to future chapters and seeing what the 第一神座　and 二元論 has in store. When I read that evil was considerably beautiful and the seven 魔王 were all beautiful and innocent in their ferocity, I didn't expect one of them to be a fucking star cluster which eats galaxies though he (?) did come off as pretty innocent in regards to his curiosity

That's what I already do all the time, but I still prefer to have author's views on what is good MC design and what is good eroge story align with mine. Rewriting 5% of the story instead of just going along with the flow and roleplaying as predefined character is acceptable. More than half? Fuck no. Just finished reading it.
I still have the afterstory to go through, but I know I'm going to miss all the characters after this.

Truth be told, I started reading this VN 3 years ago, when I wasn't good enough to fully enjoy reading VNs for too long. At the time, I had to stop after barely an hour of reading every time, but thinking of how I could read it like any other book today is something that's giving me some complicated feelings too.
It was kind of a journey getting to the end, leaving the story and coming back to it after weeks each time, only to come back to it this once and reading for 12 hours straight until the credits rolled. This VN accompanied me for quite a while, I felt a lot of things through each chapter, and I don't know how I feel about it being over yet.

I've been here consuming this kind of thing for more than a decade now, but it's my first time getting so invested this way into something like this.
I feel hollow, and kind of alone in how this isn't exactly some blockbuster you can talk about with just anyone.

Usually a sign of a codec issue, no experience with that game but I've never been unable to resolve such an issue. Some games don't play well with LAV Filters and need to be blacklisted, for example. I mean, 2007 isn't that old.
Maybe I'll try it sometime and see if it works on 10.
