Hi /jp/, >>21819092 here again. After taking your suggestions from the previous thread and acquiring the new materials, I've now assembled and released a third version of the "Touhou Project All-In-One Pack": https://nyaa.si/view/1175232
This version of course adds the new games, and also features a few improvements over the second:
+ Added 15.5, 16.5, and 17
+ Added vpatch for Adonis
= Upgraded the key remapper to the most fully-featured version
= Added some notes to the readme

If you have the previous version already downloaded, the zips for 1 through 15 are unchanged in this version, so using them to help seed would be greatly appreciated.
Anyway, enjoy! If you spot anything wrong or have any additional suggestions, let me know so I can fix/add them in the next version. And thanks again to everyone from the last thread!

A very retarded question, but how do I use THCrap? I run the thcrap_configure.exe, then it tells me to pick a patch. Which patches should I pick? Is 1 the patch for english translation? Do I have to run it everytime I add a new Touhou game to my directory.

>> No.22073338

>>22073307
There should be detailed help on their website, but if you just want the English translations, then pick whichever number 'en' is. You may have to hunt for it a bit.
And yes, you'll have to configure each new game as they come out, though you can do all the ones you currently have at once by choosing their parent directory during setup.

Inside the thcrap folder, it will create a "games.js" file after fully running the config the first time
You can open it up in Notepad and add new games like that without having to run the entire config all over again

Last time I ran the configuration program was like back when LoLK came out

What?

If you are making this all in one pack, why not use the offline versions of thcrap patches? In fact, why not use that for every game since they are supposedly more accurate than the older patches that still have cringy made up lines?

>> No.22080872

>>22080780
You could turn it offline yourself you autist.

>> No.22081082

>>22080780
As far as I understand, the 'offline patches' are just the same software with the translation materials pre-downloaded, meaning you'd have a dozen separate copies of thcrap spread out among the folders instead of one in its own location. It would increase size and clutter while providing no real advantage, and in fact losing out on adaptability and user choice.
Plus, last I checked, thcrap still doesn't support translating the endings for first-gen games, which is a pretty major mark against it in those cases.
As it is, you can set up the included copy for any games you want, in any configuration you want, or not have to deal with it at all if you don't want to, which I think is the best of all worlds.

I disagree with your other points, but this does indeed kills it. Thanks.
