You can follow the Jamal method by watching 5/14億秒 anime with English subs, learn hiragana, and then start reading Hanahira or Axanael. You'll probably understand most of what you hear, even if you've got no idea which kanji corresponds to which word.
Or you can do core6k + tae kim and start reading Yotsubato knowing at least 50 words (even if you have to look up over half of everything else)
Or you can do vncore + sakubi/boiro/vjg and start reading something yasasii like Flyable Heart or Nanatuiro Drops once you've got at least 500 words down (even though you should've at least tried reading some loli h-manga before that)
