So at that point the difference seems to be which order do you prefer. Honestly KLC's ordering seems more useful. RTK gives you a ton of stuff that's at the back of frequency list. RTK is all about building blocks whereas KLC is more about showing you a ton of similar Kanji and going over the differences. If I was frontloading I could see RTK being useful.

With kanji I know the readings and can guess meanings most of the time, but the way yotsuba speaks it's just fucking written sounds to me. I mean I'm exaggerating but I find it honestly much harder than any other manga that also uses furigana just for this reason.

99% of her speech is in kana, that's what I'm trying to say, and that's HARDER for me than the other characters who seem to speak somewhat normally and use kanji.
It's harder because with kanji I quickly recognize readings or meanings and jukugo, but with just kana I sometimes am not sure where a word starts or ends compared to another, and sounds are shared by a couple of words. I mean at this point I'm certain that it's just me being a retard and no one else had this issue but I just wanted to explain why I was struggling more than with other material

Many years ago I did Kanji Damage and read the basic section of TaeKim. Then I stopped all together for 4 years as I didn't have time. Then about a year ago I got back into it and did just core 6k for about a year as I though KD was worthless for actual reading, I got to the halfway point on that and dropped it a few months ago and then actually started properly studying TaeKim which I recently completed the essential grammar part of and decided to start doing some "actual" reading i.e. h doujinshi and mitsuboshi colors.

I can understand a lot of simple dialogue but people never seem to talk like you see in example sentences.
