The reason many type moon characters can keep their awesomeness even years have passed, is that their creators are not some greedy bastards who would continue making series after series in order to make more profits out of them, until they become retarded even by the fanbase.

I mean, look at Star wars, I once thought Anakin was cool back when I saw ep4-6 for the first time. Now with the whole Clone Wars idiocy, he just become another plain,shitty character.

What would be awesome is if Nasu got Nitro-Plus to write a light novel about how Emiya Shirou became EMIYA with a book taking place in one of the hundreds of thousands of Fifth Grail wars he fought were one version of EMIYA actually got a GOOD END.

(Even if Archer cannot be saved as a whole, one incarnation of him can be taken out of the loop.)
