It's pretty obvious once you play it.
The pace is crippled by the whole charging mechanism and the patches only made it worse.

It seemed interesting at first, and all the patches made it terrible and more terrible.

Absolutely bullshit. Patches even adds up moves, fix game balances (death combo etc). Saying the later patches made the game worse is like saying Finaltuned made React worse.

I lost interest after the first few patches that did exactly opposite of what the people complained about, they made charging even more important. It's like they made Re-Act and then patched it to the original.
