Get there with the first train in the morning if you're after something, but be prepared to wait in line outside from 5:30 to 10:00AM.
Otherwise show up at 11:30 and get in immediately, but popular circles will have sold out by then.

Expect many people. A sea of people. Lines. Long lines. Both to get in and to take the return train in the afternoon. And heat. Lots of heat. Bring plenty to drink with you, especially if you plan to stand in line for a long time.

The fun part (at least for me) is getting fresh/exclusive anime shit, meeting some of my favorite doujin artists and just stumbling on something great by complete accident. Also hanging out with fellow anime nerds, if you’re into that.
But yeah, for all of the above you have to overcome hell. I literally cannon comprehend how people manage to go multiple days in a row, because even after one day I am absolutely destroyed.

Missing a Comiket always frustrates me but at least I know I won't be sweating myself to death today.
