this takes the place of the standard pofv vpatch, so users will need to either swap the three vpatch files when switching between single-player and multiplayer or copy their pofv folder (minus vpatch files) so they have one for single-player and one for multiplayer. works with both versions of adonis. just launch adonis like normal: it automatically does whatever it needs to do. ini can be configured like the normal ini; i don't know what the added line does (or the removed line), but it worked for me on its default setting. not qualified to answer how it works.

not sure why this wasn't included in the original upload linked on touhouwiki, but i suspect it's because it was in a download by itself, so it was easier to overlook, and because nobody plays pofv. don't know how much of a difference it makes because i've always used it.


it'd also be nice to have links/info on training tools (like spoileral), boss rush patches, and the like, but that'd go beyond the scope of games + stuff to make them work (and then it becomes less clear where to draw the line on what extra stuff to include), so i can understand if you wouldn't want to get into that.

That's an excellent suggestion, and I wasn't even aware such a thing existed, so thank you very much for that. I'll give it a look over and include it along with an explanation in the readme.

As you mentioned, a bit outside the scope of this pack, but I'll consider mentioning in the readme that such things can be found and read about in more detail on the wiki; a sentence in the New Players section probably wouldn't hurt.

I don't want to get dragged into a tracker fight, but .si is the one I use, so that's the one place where I'll upload and maintain the torrent. If you or anyone else want to reupload it to Pantsu, or any other tracker or DDL site, then by all means please do. I'd prefer if you linked back to the original one where I may post notes or updates, just so everyone can stay up to date, but it's not like I care about taking credit or anything. I'm not really interested or motivated enough to try to shill my meager efforts outside of /jp/. It's the most popular Touhou software torrent on Nyaa, and the link has spread around 4chan and other imageboards, so between word-of-mouth and search engine indexing, I think it should be easy enough to find.
