I've been working on some japanese homework this weekend, and because its HW from a new lesson I have no clue if i'm doing it right. If anyone decent in the language could quickly check over my work it would be appreciated.
(Also i've only used kanji that I know how to write)

idk, I personally think おく kind of works in this case -- they're preparing for the weekend, right?

しょう来 (将来)is 'future' obviously, but I think the way you used it makes it sound like you think you're going to get sick like...within a few days. I'm not sure if しょう来 would be the the right word...すぐ maybe.

Sounds pretty decent though...you're doin ok

thanks for the second look.

so "sugu" would mean a more general saying of "soon"?

in class, we always said
and that was always referencing what kind of jobs we wanted to have, etc...after graduation.

すぐ is basically...'soon' or 'close' and things along those terms. In the spectrum of things, it can either mean "within a few seconds/minutes" or...in terms of getting sick, it'd probably be a few days.

So yeah, I think すぐ is a better choice
