Another yama's involvement seems like a perfect side plot for Extra stage and Kutaka being yama's underling as she stated herself might be a foreshadowing.

I just hope the next 4 bosses cause as much butthurt as possible. The chimpout over Clownpiece/Hecatia in 2015 and the tantrum over Okina in 2017 were the funnest initial reactions we had in /jp/ since Utsuho in 2008.

So far the bosses are the spirit of a stillborn, a cow with a statue of a baby, and a hen with a chick. Among other things there's a baby theme for all of them so I'm curious if that'll continue for all the bosses. And if so maybe that rules out Komachi/Eiki/Hecatia from being a boss this go around?

I predict Marissa will have to retire because she gets pregnant, so she can't do battle anymore.

The problem with Hidden Star characters is that they didn't feel very different from each other. Aunn only got some traction because she's a dog. But the touhous in Wily Beast are really different from each other and unique. I don't expect a massive wave of popularity, but I think they'll hold out. Chicken is really popular right now, cow second, and ebisu is last.
