It seems like the issue with Nitroplus is that the engine on older titles like Sumaga is no longer compatible with modern Windows, so they can't be released unless Nitroplus updates them. So JAST has moved to Nitro+Chiral games (Sweet Pool was released in December and Togainu no Chi is next) and newer Nitroplus games, e.g. Totono which is already translated and currently in QA, which will probably be the next release. Also the compatibility issue is not a problem for Muramasa since Nitroplus already released a Windows 10 edition, so it shouldn't get held up in the way other games did. Also if the leak (see pic) is correct, they've been translating it for several years already, so I'd view a Muramasa announcement with cautious optimism.

There isn't much to spoil about a collection of torture scenes coated with a weak ass story without direction. That one in particular is from inside a Phalaris bull. Big spoiler, ooh.

Brief review:
The writing style is surprisingly good, along with the voice acting. Maggot Baits is also visually 'appealing'. At least at the start. But the story totally, absolutely, trainwrecks towards the middle, which is very bad. The porn scenes are clearly written by somebody else, with way lower quality and unmatching style. A problem when there are such high number of them. Though the writing quality of the Japanese original might become not apparent at the translation.
Even if considering only the visual part, the questionable mix of gore, dickgirls and vanilla becomes hardly palatable as a whole.

Most of MG's titles are mosaic free. If a MG release doesn't have mosaics, it's usually because the parent company (probably) legitimately lost the assets or because they are extremely stubborn (Minori). Only JAST USA is more stubborn about the issue. Japanese companies being adamant about not releasing mosaics might be one reason why they are unwilling to work with MG or JAST.

Sekai is really lax about the issue. Nekonyan is about as lax. Sol Press is somewhat better about the issue IIRC, but I haven't been keeping track which of their titles have or don't have mosaics.

I personally don't care, but being uncensored was the standard in the industry for a long time before Sekai came around. It's important enough to affect sales. It goes without saying that the amount of people who find mosaics a deal breaker are more than the amount of people who find not having mosaics a deal breaker, and you need every purchase you can get. Much like the DRM thing, it's arguably more a matter of principle than anything else.

I know one guy who knew Japanese who found Western releases pointless unless mosaics were removed. At least for the Japanese fluent, that logic makes sense.

The currently unused hints are gameplay, moege, and yuri. The cat hint and 3 hint obviously both referred to the catgirls VNs and Imopara 3 respectively.
It wouldn't surprise me if the AX announcement was an Alicesoft gameplay title and Otakon ended up with the rest of the moege and yuri titles, but it might be a yuri title for the sake of ANN bait. I don't know what yuri title is pivotable enough to announce it by itself though. People vote for Sono Hana, but that's more because there aren't other well known yuri VN franchises. There's also the chance that the AX title is unrelated to the hints and it's a BL or otome title. If that's the case, let's hope that the JAST panel isn't a BL bonanza again.

Between Beat Valkyrie Ixseal, Evenicle 2, various milf/NTR titles, and the Rance remakes, it's certainly possible for MG to announce 4 different Alicesoft games. Most likely though, they would be split between AX and Otakon like previous years.

sometimes when you translate something if you want to retain what it is you have to keep some of the japanese concepts untranslated and i fucking despise that there's so many people and especially translators that just refuse to get this
if something is distinctly japanese and no english equivalent exists then you shouldn't make things up it just makes the translation look unprofessional

So it's highly likely they'll be announcing the next entry(in release order) of Kyonyuu Fantasy which would be Kyonyuu Fantasy Gaiden 2.
