Even less popular than the likes of Moonbitches, Tokiko or the unnamed character who appeared on the cover of Dolls in Pseudo Paradise

I have a hard time believing these popularity polls, no way the nameless drug-addicted villager from the mango is more popular than Kisume, who has literally 10,000+ fanarts, hundreds of theme remixes, hundreds of doujin, merchandise etc.

I think ZUN wanted to make her playable as a sort of moriya rep (like youmu, or sanae) but she's forgettable and he's tired of religion wars.

Honestly I only recognize her from Cookie. This thread just taught me her name is Ichirin cause up to this point I called her 小麦粉

I find Ichirin unreasonably hot (thanks, nun fetish), and porn starring her is usually at least decent, but she's a bland character all told. Akyuu mostly just says she's pleasant to be around (even if the fighters' dialogue goes kind of against this), her profile makes her into a recluse who's loyal to Byakuren. She doesn't even have her own power, instead relying on a pet character.

Minamitsu is cuter anyway.
