Eternal City's slow AP regen is starting to get to me. Now that I'm allowed to skip the fighting if my characters are strong enough I can dump 240AP in 15 minutes. Seems they want you more or less to do 1 week ingame in 1 week in real life. Given the main appeal is the story they want to drag it as long as possible since there isn't much to do once you're done doing the most relevant routes and unlocking the story characters. The translation is getting worse the deeper I go too. Also I'm getting some weird input delay on a few late game boss fights and multiplayer, it's almost unplayable.

Kusopl is only in charge of publishing. Pyramid handles the programming/content and MDs. They're also getting a DMM PC release, hopefully that's an actual standalone program instead of a lazy emulator port.

Tutorial roll is fixed to one 4-star of the initial 9? girls, and two 3-stars. So reroll for who you like. Sitara, Rin, and Rei are pretty safe. For weapons:

But you can equip whatever too until you get their motif gear.

The dailies reset rewards daily, 30 scout points for 5 multiplayer (just do the easiest one), and all dodge bonus from not getting hit in Investigations. So try doing that for single sortie nodes or all of them if you're some hot shot. Doesn't work in event investigations.
Slips from accessory gacha can be used to skip nodes and receive the rewards+shells. Using coins to skip gives no rewards.

I forget what newbies are supposed to do with shell excess. Just make sure you do 4 at a time and ship off crap like low rarity weapon shells. Eventually you'll be swimming in batteries, but it costs 1 batt to clear 10 minutes per bay.

And there's a beginner investigation map in events, you should do that to get an initial supply of anima, coins, and batts.

As a warning, there is no stamina except for shell analysis timers, and nearly everyone here got burned out playing too much grinding for motif shells. Which drop after clearing a node, so don't think you can check shell drops and restart forever. Motif shell drops are based on who you have in the party.

Essentially there's no real gacha, the treasure dungeons just have their own sets of gear you can get from them (With some being less meant for loot and instead meant for either Relic upgrade materials or Emeralds to buy shit on the auction house).
Most of your gear will end up coming from farming story stages though, although there's always the chance of getting lucky during one of the daily free treasure runs, so they're always worth doing when you can.

Yeah, you can change later, although it's not entirely free.

A quick rundown on how classes work is that you end up picking a set of three different skilltrees for your build, although to get more you need to get further into the story so you don't have all the options at the start.

Anyways, from there if you're dissatisfied with that build you can use an orb to reset it, but orbs are fairly limited since you only get them from a few quests along with the handful that you can buy for gold.
There's also the option however of starting a new Build from level 1 once you clear chapter 2 of the story. Biggest problem with this is the fact that you will end up needing to grind both builds separately, but it's a system I don't especially mind.

Is there any particular team comp recommended in Witch's Weapon? So far I've using this to clear Chapter 2.
SSR Baijuu as main physical DPS.
SSR Beatrice as secondary magical DPS.
R Iruka to reduce enemy attack speed and increase evasion.
R Raphael to reduce enemy defense and as a Healer.

Beatrice feels a bit redundant since Baijuu does most of the work but not sure if I should replace her with a weaker but more useful character. I tend to start with Raphael then switch to Iruka > Baiju and then alternate between Baijuu and Beatrice or Iruka.

The story is very linear. 7 days until the end of the world so you have to find the perfect combination of choices that leads to saving the world. The 7 days happen over and over but with each run you gain new information which opens new choices that weren't available before due to your lack of knowledge.

For instance in your first run your main Wielder suddenly leaves you and you're left wondering why, maybe if you had spent more time with her and getting close to her she could trust you enough to not leave you. You fail to save the world and so in your second run you do that and earn her trust, when it's time for her to leave you, you go after her and convince her to stay with you. You both keep working together but sadly the two of you aren't strong enough so the world ends anyway. So you begin your third run, now knowing what's up with her and trying to look for another method, like preventing another character's death that might be able to turn things around, or getting ahead of another character before he can steal something important.

There is a device used to travel to other worlds that is used to learn more about a certain character, but other than that you're stuck reliving the same 7 days in a linear way.

Holy cow, there's some new kind of air pirate-type mission in Kotobuki which shows some shadow'd out pilots and they're extremely powerful. Absolutely destroyed two 5* 85's in like 30 seconds.

On the contrary, it's supposed to take you a lot of playthroughs. The devs want you to learn little by little about the world, the characters and their motivations. You can't grasp the full picture in just a couple of runs. It's their way of dragging the life of the game as much as they can since it's not a finished game.

Your choices have impact on that specific run. Some choices alter the way the story plays out in a big way (like a character dying or losing an important item) or in a small way (a sector of the city is infested with monsters and it's harder to clear because you went to clear some other place first, or you gain/lose affection). And in the end depending on the choices you made and the flags you triggered you get a specific ending.

They don't have an impact on your next run though in the following runs new events will unlock, like agreeing to let Antoneva introduce you to a certain character, someone you couldn't help in the previous run because you didn't know who she was but this time you can. You can also use the information learned in the previous run to your advantage, like knowing a certain character likes sweets so you can buy her a cake and give it directly to her, skipping the part where you learned about that to save time.

New Abyss: Quantum Singularity that totates weekly with Dirac.

QS is similar to dirac, but you can't skip straight to the boss, you have to beat all the mob groups first. partial progress in mob groups grants point. There's a floor skip mechanic like infinity's, clear a lower floor within 60s to skip 1 floor.

QS has a new mechanic:
There's an energy bar that accumulates by evading attacks, filling the bar to full grants a powerful buff, different areas will have different buffs. There'll also be quantum fluctuations that let you accumulate energy more quickly.

Mechanics for quantum enemies:
Quantum type valks deal more dmg to quantum type enemies, bio/mech/psy valks don't have any type effect vs quantum enemies.

Quantum type enemies have 2 states: Superimposed and Collapsed

While superimposed, enemies are immune to normal freeze/stun/paralyze/time slow and have some dmg resistance, they'll also have special attacks. If you evade their special attack(s) then attack them, they'll become collapsed, losing their immunities, dmg resist and special attack

Also leveling skills no longer require skill points, achievements/task skill pt rewards will be changed

From other things I'm reading, apparently Seele's dodge heals her, is a new type and has her fragments in an event so there is a possibility she might be an A-rank.

I think it's more due to the reason that she really got nothing cute or nice in her stories. All her backstory, cute moments and everything are stuck on the original priconne that shut down while Re:Dive is the one that struck gold with the loli pandering and got popular so you can't really expect most/all players to dig out the original story and read it to fully understand her character.

Her stories are literally just preparing for battle and talking about okto this and okto that. Her RL episode is just her and okto too and while she's with her life partner in this episode, there's STILL nothing cute or nice happening between the two of them so she kind of falls off to the side and becomes that unit you use only for esports to give way to the other girls that actually do get a lot of cute stuff.

You have to look at each game individually and see if it'd function properly if the player bases were fragmented. Having global and JP players on the same servers goes all the way back to FFXI, which was the first JP MMO. That was a conscious decision that the devs made because the way that the game was designed required players to constantly be cooperating with each other to do even the most trivial of tasks, having separate servers would risk there not being a large enough pool of players to pull from at all hours of the day and potentially make the game look dead.

Shadowverse and GBF in particular need a decent number of individuals playing at all times because of how they were designed. You can't release a global version of either of them and expect them not to die a horrible death very early on and Korean servers would most likely suffer the same fate, the only region that could realistically keep itself afloat would be China. Even Dragalia needs people hosting coop and having one server makes it easier for people to find a group at any time of day.

Now compare those to Priconne, they removed the live coop in it so all that's left is PvP against the AI and clan battle ranking. These can be done at any time of day and doesn't require you to find other people to complete them with. They will make much more money by having people pay them for the content they already made in different regions, there's a surprising amount of players who only want to start games when they're brand new and who are very opposed to starting a game that's been out for even a few months. In Priconne's case it makes a lot of sense to jew people like crazy by being able to sell all the seasonal limiteds again and those localization don't even have to add a spark system until the first anniversary so they can make more money but doing this instead of letting them all play on the JP server.

They fixed the glitches they had and made their moves/transitions smoother but other than bugfixing and optimization, they get no real gameplay changes because all the developers are busy with Seele now please understand.

Shironeko is in a weird spot right now where most of the new characters are sidegrades at best. Setsuna is gold SS on famitsu but she's not really better than Yona or even Aisha because she can't link her skills and the extra SP recovery and damage mitigation are somewhat wasted on an xsaber, the only difference is that she's lightning but xsaber Judah is about as good even though he's way less cute. Towa is slightly worse than Ciela and Riche is too niche. Her s1 passively doing most of her damage is interesting and different but she's not exactly better than Liltet or Madoka in most scenarios, I can see her being better than them for SP limited quests and hell modes but Madoka still brings auto SP restoration and the revive while Liltet has very high initial burst that also gives her some SP.

Not getting cute new characters sucks but it's at the point where you can bring almost any character since last Chaguma and have them do well. Although maybe that makes not getting the characters you want even worse, since it comes down to personal preference of which play style you enjoy the most or who you find the cutest rather than having to keep luckshitting powercreeps to keep up with the content.

She does but Aisha has that cutin and Yona can move during her skills. Setsuna is rooted in place on her S2 but has her summon taking damage to make up for that in case you get hit and the status barrier is obviously nice even if it's tied to her S1. All 3 are roughly the same, it just depends if you want the cutin and auto hp regen, the mobility and life leech on normal attacks, or the summon to tank hits and heal you. It's just that xsabers can spam dodge to avoid everything and their flick moves give you 2 extra damage barrier charges so the tankiness of Setsuna is only needed because of how vulnerable her S2 can leave her.
