No. Hou Yi was Junko's husband, and they had a son together that had some form of connection to the sun. But Hou Yi was also Chang'e's husband. So when Hou Yi shot down the ten suns (one of which was Junko's + Houyi's son), Junko essentially got angry at Chang'e because her husband (that was also her own husband) killed her child. This is briefly brought up in Reisen's ending, and it is most likely deliberately confusing.

However, in real life there was supposedly a Chinese ruler named Hou Yi that killed his own son, and Junko is likely based on his wife. In real life mythology, a completely different Hou Yi was married to Chang'e, and this Hou Yi is the one that shot down the 10 suns. A probabe scenario is that these two different Hou Yis have been conflated into one, as mythology is often confusing and contradictory, thus creating the scenario described earlier.

TL;DR: Embrace ambiguity.

Bonus: The reason why Hecatia sympathizes with Junko and tags along on her quest to kill an immortal is because when Hou Yi shot down the suns, she perceived it as him shooting down Apollo, as she originates from Greek mythology.
