Did anyone else think Clannaids was infinitely better to UBW?

Clannaids was pure awesome, mostly due to Akio, Tomoya, and Sunohara. And Ushio. I actually wanted to keep playing, unlike UBW where I was hoping I would get to the end soon.

UBW was filled with the same repeating text twenty times over but said in a slightly different way and a boring, cliche retard as the main character. The only real appeal is the sex scenes, which are uninspired crap to begin with.

In other words, plot (Clannaids, Ever17) > porn with plot (F/SN)

I played both completely and yes I prefer Clannad though they are in different genres to begin with.
They are both in my top10 but they don't even come close to my number one.

The simple fact that Clannad has Sunohara and Akio makes it better.

It's also about 5 times longer so there's much more development, and like the OP said they don't repeat the same thing over and over again throughout the story so it has about 20 times more content.

And Tomoya is a main character with a brain and not pure-hearted good guy, which is a nice change.

I've watched shounen with more interesting plots than F/SN.

And Clannad is better simply because the writing is better. I got tired of FSN because it the same old crap as Tsukihime with a crappier plot.

Also, I really wish Nasu would cut out that thing he has about repeating the same line over for 5-10 lines for emphasis. Everything he writes already has enough emphasis because he repeats the same idea ten times to begin with.

Actually I'm far from being a fan of BAWWWWWWWWING games but I really loved Clannad. That's because it not only had some BAWWWWWWWING scenes, it also had lots of really heartwarming scenes and LOTS of really funny scenes. And yes it was really immersive.

UBW didn't have anything special to it, the whole story was cliche and boring and the action scenes sucked. I was expecting the actual Unlimited Blade Works to be a lot more grandiose than it actually was.
