How much of a beginner? I started Aonatsu when I hit 2k words (2 weeks ago) and while it was extremelly hard at beginning it was doable.

Best luck is to try simple eroges with ITHVNR setup. I'm reading 姉ちゃんのススメ right now. I recommend it.
