Cuteness as a attribute is timeless and pretty shapeless too, IMO. Sexy women, can be cute too, as well as tomboyish women can be. However they are cute in different ways, sterotypically the tomboy might show her cute side while trying to maintain a tough exterior, and the sexy one might be be really childish or something. Moé is often satirized, such as in LS, but when the point of satire is lost the characteristic "moé" becomes stagnant.
