But really, making the change from "Arthur" to "Joan" would keep the same result in any of the routes. The respective "Saber" could be essentially the same, even bar the reasons she thought herself as unattractive. What would need to be changed for inconvenience would be the identity of her weapon not being as important, and a bunch of the "kings who ruined their kingdoms" repertoire between Gilgamesh and her would have to be rewritten. Everything else can stay as it is and have justifiable reasons for Joan.

Making King Arthur really a woman is just a pointless curveball in the characterization.

Excalibur is anti-fort/castle. Anti-fort is a supreme attack which relies on overwhelming force in its application. Think of it literally: enough force applied to entirely bring down a fortress. An attack which pierces through any defense.

Of course Gilgamesh has an anti-world Noble Phantasm, which is just dandy.

Another thing that bugged me, Arthur was a female, so that would make her Queen of England and not king. I don't see why she would have to hide her gender, unless the type-moon guys weren't aware that it wasn't out of the question to have a female ruler in Europe at the time.
