I finished reading SubaHibi, and while it was a bit harder than I expected, overall I didn't find it too bad. I saw in multiple instances though that Jabberwocky II was the hardest part of the VN (to translate at least), but I feel like maybe excepting Yuki's monologue it was probably one of the easiest parts of the VN since it was all kids talking. Lazy writing through and through.
And the worst is: The game already takes place in some magic existing world only similar to ours. You could've EASILY written a little blurb about this and made it normal. I hope you enjoy it. I couldn't like it at all even though I wanted to, felt like the author had his head up his ass abusing purple prose to make the narrative feel tedious and dull. The game feels like a 15-hour game that was purposefully made to be 40+ hours long, but without any properly interesting content added to make the additional playtime feel worthwhile (instead let's repeat the word さみしい a million times, maybe the players will finally understand what kind of theme we're trying to tell!).

Also I fucking hated the "lore" in Sakura Moyu? Everyone whines about the infodumps in Fate Stay Night but they felt several times more interesting than Sakura Moyu's exposition. For some reason I didn't even find it that bad in the common route but it really started to get つまらない in the heroine routes. Could be partly because it's annoying when shit hitting the fan and actual ongoing plot gets interrupted by another exposition spam on how this group of non-characters nobody cares about mistreated and sacrificed this other group of non-characters nobody cares about one trillion million years ago.

I wouldn't call a "working game" solid. Evenicle 1 was already padded to hell and back, and 2 is supposed to be even worse.
It wouldn't even be hard to fix. But obviously, it'd make the game shorter, and we can't have that. (see Sakura, Moyu as well) So you will be annoyed by a million random encounters against crap monsters, because the game makes you run all over the damn world all the time, instead of letting you simply progress and use "revisiting old places" with more meaning and not just something like "you need to fetch this item from this old town before you can fight the boss". You will also be annoyed by a lot of story points doing essentially nothing, as whatever you are supposed to get either isn't there, you lose it, it doesn't do what it should or it just doesn't matter for anything.

I know some people don't dislike this. Sakura, Moyu also has its fans. But a solid game kinda needs a little more than that. If you can remove 20-30 hours of a game, and it'd turn out better, then something went REALLY wrong. It basically means, 2/3 of the game are not really good/enjoyable. Instead of that bad content, I'd rather have half of that as good content added. Sure, you lose 10-15 hours of gameplay time that way, but so what?
Generally speaking, not every single arc needs to matter a lot, but the cases where people complain are usually so bad, that 70%+ don't really matter. Writers repeatedly using "show and tell", to spend as much time as possible on every single minor plot element, among other things. It feels cheap and lazy.
