I just started priconne recently and only read the main story up through chapter 3. It made absolutely no sense so I read the original game's story and after reading the ending and epilogue I'm even more confused. Has re:dive's story gotten far enough along that it reconciles the ending of the first game and re:dive's prologue? Or is it another Extella Zero where it's a sequel to a route that doesn't exist?

Without her 5* then 4* Revitalize + 4* Prism Flasher + 4* Shining Spear + 3* Trinity Spark or 3* Gate of Judgement. Revitalize is a great heal, Prism Flasher and Shining Spear are okay but cast time is a bit too long. Trinity Spark has a low cast time so you can spam it while Gate of Judgement is a counter in case you get raped by a melee character, it's worth keeping both and use the one you think you need the most. Nothing is stopping you from using both and taking out one of her slow 4* spells but that might hurt your bonuses and stats a bit too much. Normally if you had her 5* you would forget about her spells and do normal x2 > Backstep > 5* Commandment > 5* Commandment. You're missing a lot by not having it.

I just beat the last level in Arknights OBT 3 stars without friend support. The boss has a two target insta-kill skill that randomly targets 3x3 tiles around her and make the tiles hit unplaceable for the rest of the battle, and a 3x3 AOE skill originating from her that deals around 900 damage before mitigation (for comparison my lowest health unit has 1000 HP and 15% mitigation). This is her first form. When you kill her she transforms into a second form and the 3x3 AOE skill gets replaced by a 5x5 one.

The Korean games are by far the worst offenders with the RNG gearing but I've been finding it to be an annoyance in any game that's either a turn based RPG or an autobattler. Music is good. Designs are good. Story is good. Gacha is garbage (horrible rates). They are quite generous with handing out freebies though. Gameplay itself is quite dull with a very boring combat system which also visually looks like ass. You've missed Drakengard, Nier and Nier Automata collabs so that may be a factor if you were interested in them at all. I wouldn't personally recommend it unless you were able to fluently read Japanese. The EOP version is being run by Nexon so that's an automatic skip, at least from me.

It has good music and cute characters. That's about all you'll be getting from it without being able to enjoy the story which is primarily the reason to play it. It's super casual too which may or may not be something you want, you can play for like 10 minutes per day and still be up to date with everyone else who plays. Just be prepared for being significantly behind as it'll take months to catch up with levels on top of the fact that your roster will be super gimped compared to people who have SKaryl/Christina/Muimi/NYYui/VSizzle etc.
