I don't know if everyone has this experience but for me the characters with mob caps or similar hats (Yukari, Yuyuko, Patchy) can never keep their hats on once they came off the first time.

always put your fumos on towels or blankets while posing outside. keep the space your fumos live in clean and dusted. keep them away from food and mess. if you dont want them to get dirty or hairy keep them away from pets too.

generally simple lint rolling can do a lot to help keep fumos clean. check out FumosTV on youtube for detailed cleaning example videos

to add, while the saturation of the photo may make it harder to see, the shirt quality of the right yuugi pales in comparison to the left one, as i had literally no idea how to make a shirt with yuugi1. also for yuugi2, i used knitted fabric rather than cotton cloth for the clothes, which made it overall, much softer, and sturdier. but even with all of that said, i love both of my yuugis, and ill eventually make a third one in her kimono
