I suggest finding a way to store your doll hanging, it makes handling the doll so much easier. Mineral oil bath, clothing, cleaning. The less you have to deal with the weight when working with the doll the better.

TPE can get stained but an individual piece of clothing either stains or does not stain. There are plenty of clothes that do not stain, especially after having been washed. A test piece can be utilized. Silicone can get stained too but I believe it is (much) less susceptible.

Many TPE manufacturers (including WM, JY and 6Ye) seem to offer body heating on request, but it appears to be rarely offered on vendor websites (or hidden away). As it stands, it seems there are only few people who actually own a self-heating doll. There are isolated reports of heating systems failing and TPE melting on dollforum, but no real reliable reviews. An electric blanket is probably a more practical and universal solution, but the blanket temperature shouldn't be much higher than the doll target temperature.

Silicone is more temperature resistant, and Sinodoll/Z-onedoll offer internal heating as a regular option which is quite popular and has received good reviews.
