Mary sue has to be a self insert that trumps all others in all abilities, has no meaningful flaws other than perhaps a "dark past" and should over come all conflict within an existing setting with minimal effort.

No Touhous are mary sue, even ZUN's self insert via Rinnosuke isn't that important or powerful. The characters might be LOL HAX, but that doesn't make them a Sue.

Being a Mary sue is a paradox. One of the definitions of being a sue is hving no flwas, but being a mary sue is a flaw in it'self. Hmmm.
