Kamunagara, written as 随神相 (could also be read as zuijinsou) is a physical manifestation of the hadou god's power and his craving. It appears along with the activation of atziluth/taikyoku. It is said that the appearance of kamunagara reflects the true nature and the craving of its owner. It isn't just an image, or an illusion — it is quite real, and can actually be used to, say, physically attack an opponent. Although there are no examples of that in dies, it happened on multiple occasions in Kajiri.
Since kamunagara is a manifestation of the desire to rule over the world, it is a unique quality of hadou gods, and gudou god do not possess one.
The term 随神相 comes from a word 随身(zuijin), which meant an attendant, or a bodyguard, in ancient Japan this terms was used to describe warriors who accompanied nobles. In shinto there is a concept called 随神(also reads as zuijin), which means the deities who guard the shrine gates. So, in a sense, kamunagara is a guardian spirit, aspect of a hadou god.

I've read the translated version soon after it came out, so my memory of it isn't very clear now, but I remember it being fairly decent overall. As another anon said (in the previous thread, I think?), sometimes the translation was even more flowery than the original, can't say I very much liked those changes, but for a work of such scale, I'd say that the translation was actually good.

I wouldn't judge the success of Light WEST based on a short novel like Ikabey alone. I think whatever comes next (hopefully KKK, it seems like the next logical step.) will be the real battle on whether Light sees it's profitable to continue official translations here or not. Also the fact that if the next main novel to be translated does well, we might see a Pantheon english release. Then again, for a visual novel to do well it doesn't have to sell a super huge amount.

They might as well have just went straight to KKK then but it feels more like they want to get their footing first before they do big investments and the like. Yeah I'm well aware that they could get really angry if I made the final boss too strong and had them be defeated on purpose.
However, I was a player in this same campaign before the DM dropped it and the BBEG was already established as an evil being that existed since forever, gets passively stronger the longer it takes to defeat him and even after being defeated will still ressurect after a hundred years.
They do expect a pretty tough fight so I have some leeway to make it seem like they could have won, I don't want to be that kind of DM that railroads the players into defeat but at the same time I can't fucking imagine how will they react when they find out that this new weird setting is actually what was left from the universe when they lost against the final boss.
