Jingwei doll is support doll with heal talent skill, dolls have their own SP bar and can only regen themselves. Their SP will only go up if they attack and they won't attack until you do. Jingwei doll apparently has damage reduction skills too. Dolls are free and can be obtained by cracking eggs.

In the quantum sea there are 2 new type of creatire that will be a pain in the ass, the octopus and the king crab. The octopus use kinetic energy to create a block, the crab is super tanky with lots of aoe and stun and it has 4 shield bar just like Heimdall, both are monster type. The crab can roll like Ganesha too.

Awakened Yamabuki:
Normal attack - upgrade: Single shot (not charge) create a small field around target, slow enemies inside by 40% and increase 50% damage to shield when enemies with shield are in the aoe

Passive: Shield point now base on 20% of yamabuki max HP ( max 2000). turn on/off her ultimate will instantly refresh shield status. now is 50% all damage to shield when enemies is inside the aoe.
Passive 2: When shield is on, if enemies attack is more than 300, reduce that hit by 80%. If shield was destroyed by that hit, paralyzed the attacker for 2 secs, 6 secs cooldown

New Ultimate (50 SP): pulling nearby enemies and hit them for 150% + 400% attack damage. then enter Annihilation mode for 15 secs, under this mode shield refresh every 3 secs the 3rd hit under annihilation mode will pull enemies, timelock them for 2 secs and thats not the best part hit enemies under weak status (applied by normal attack passive from above) will recover 15HP for whole team. Under annihilation mode, HP replied is twice.

2nd ultimate passive: Trigger perfect defense , instantly refresh shield. Under annihilation mode, gain 50% reduce indirect damage for a whole team.
3rd ultimate passive: When shield is on, increase physical damage by 10%. And deal 200% physical damage to nearby enemies each 2 secs. Under annihilation mode, this damage procs twice

It depends entirely on the improvement of the equipment. Many unique equips are very small upgrades and as such you're better off waiting until they're 5* to grab them. Then you have someone like Eriko who goes from a mid tier DPS to the absolute best in the game because of her equipment at which point you'd prefer to get it at 3-4* then grab at least their first unique equipment upgrade before saving again for their 5*.

The game isn't even about resource management because everyone who's "good" at the game is long past giving a shit about resources, either because they have unlimited resources from macros or because they have unlimited resources from mindlessly emulating a macro.

I'm not going to say that the mobile games I play aren't shit but I still play then because the story attached gives me that little bit of motivation necessary to sit through the slog. I did play Kancolle when it was new because you were constantly unlocking new content and meeting new characters but the reward-investment ratio drops to something completely atrocious once you get far enough in.

Assuming a historical "loadout" is possible then perhaps your routing is certain, sure. That doesn't change the core mechanics of the game though. You have to go through 5+ nodes of combat and live to tell the tale in order to take a stab at the final boss. If you're in "last dance" on hard mode it's not uncommon to slam your head against the map countless times. Dick subs? Taiha. Air raid node? Taiha. Triple booty wall and some annoying imps for good measure? Taiha. You can and will get fucked at any given node with no possible way of countering it because that's just how the game works, unless you're happy to give Tanaka money for repair goddesses.

Then you reach the boss, assuming you are in good health (often you aren't) and then you're relying on specific hits on specific targets. You want your big girls to be chunking the boss, not hitting the shitty DD fodder. Alright, now you're in yasen, now you're rolling the dice on any form of cut-in you're equipped for. Along with your yasen equipment actually kicking in (star shell can fail for example). Also rolling the dice on the boss actually hitting girls who have already attacked/the boss missing/the boss hitting a useless bote. Then you're rolling the dice of your cut-in actually providing a crit instead of generic scratch damage which can be an issue with the bloated armour values that bosses have these days. It doesn't matter what setup you use. It doesn't matter what equipment you use. You will go through this and there's nothing you can do about it. There's minor exceptions to this such as when LBAS instagibbed specific bosses but that wasn't a very common thing last I checked.

You can mitigate some of the RNG by equipment (+upgrades), levels (+rings), sparking etc. but at the end of the day you're still going to get fucked by an opening torpedo whether you like it or not. Then it's back to repair, spark 24 botes then trying again a few more times. But sure, RNG is a non-factor.

You can only get them during the Summer event they were added. You can't get them anymore once the event is over. Though if you are playing on Global then you might still be on time to get some. They moved Mei's summer costume to the Valentine's Day event, just get enough event items from the event quest and buy it from the event shop. If the Summer Memories event is still up then to get the other ones you need to raise your characters' trust levels by giving them gift and bringing them on quests. Once you've reached the milestone trust rewards exchange the letters for the swimsuits. If you're playing on any other server then you can't get them anymore.

NY Yui is currently the best healer in the game but the healers get stronger with levels and equipment so you'll notice them being more useful as you approach the endgame and the latest ranks.

I got one fight in the Colosseum and was 50% of the active players of which there are only about 1k it seems since 58% is 518. It still seems like a greedy game.

They didn't end up adding that nightgown birthday outfit, the skill on the proper birthday card is a pretty broken upgrade compared to it. King's Raid at least offers characters to you for free, whether it's directly buying them with currency (which is given to you quite easily) or via the Inn or straight up just getting tickets. The game itself was quite bland though, in my opinion.

Yeah, the complaint about King's raid was more about the characters. The premium currency income seemed pretty nice but I need cute girls to keep myself motivated and most of the new stuff/new characters seemed pretty underwhelming.
There's a few very cute girl but I need a lot of cute girls instead of sticking to a game for a couple characters because the rest of the characters don't interest me in the slightest.
