I haven't seen anything concrete, but the "Snowdrop getting snubbed" impression is everywhere. There's also campaigning to group vote Snowdrop next year as revenge.

Well, they kind of made their bed with this one. It's their fault they allowed their internal affairs to show like that (they might as well have never released info about Snowdrop having been third), especially since it's not the first time they reversed a semi-published decision like this (Pingpong Mum's banner was released with glasses, which were removed less than a day later, though she got her glasses back because the players have good taste and asked for them).

Now they can either wait for this to blow over (unlikely, and would absolutely put Snowdrop at top next year) or, if Tomose Shunsaku is available but busy instead of in "no way, no how" status (like Moneti I guess?), they could placate the Snowdrop-danchou horde by announcing a new version for the fourth place as well. The silver lining is that Oenothera's cheat win is found to be so distasteful that she's probably out of next year's race.

Don't move the goalposts. Look, no one unit in the game "needs" true damage, but that doesn't mean almost every unit in the game wouldn't be better off if they had it. Saying that the class "doesn't need it" because it can hit above it doesn't mean anything.

Besides, let's say any enemy worth messing with has 500 defense. The difference in attack between HT and Penetrator is less than half that and the skill cooldown is mostly covered by any random rear tactician that you should probably be bringing for the rest of your team if you're concerned about cooldowns anyway. You're just picking HT for the skill duration at that point, and monster slayer attack speed is garbage so you get what, two more shots?

In this situation it's a difference of 45 attack (545 - 500), limited to when the skill is up, and then you don't have true damage whether it is or not. Since the skill is up roughly half of the time it's down, you very quickly lose out on DPS because you get +45 damage 1/3 of the time and -500 the other 2/3.

Heavy Trigger gets ~12.5% more attack, so it's more useful if your Socie's attack is more than ~8 times greater than the enemy defense. Overall, Heavy Trigger is better up to ~1000-1500 defense in regular scenarios and ~2500 as long as you can overbuff like >>20834071, but Penetrator overtakes it afterwards. It also retains its skill uptime and CD perks.

But my vote is on Penetrator, even though I have no vanguards, because fuck Kimaris and the horse he rode in on.

Apparently MC's aptitude for magic is too rare (well it is, given his feats) that it'd be a waste to have just one girl (or country) have monopoly over his genes. So it's been decided that MC can't just marry a specific girl and instead, in the school principal's own words, has to share his love with everyone. (Poor Seles and Gina-sensei...)

As for the bottom ranks, Welwitschia is somewhat shocking, I thought she was popular despite being a promo girl. If you actually play the game and keep up with it, its super possible as a F2P player to spark 2-3 times a year if you have self control which isn't too hard when you've played for a while which makes saving pretty easy.

There's other similar systems in other games like roll 100 times to guarantee the character you were rolling for, roll 33/10 times to guarantee a character from a specific rarity or the same copypasted roll 300 times but the cost of rolling and currency gain rate is different so its even easier to guarantee a character.

Have you tried playing it or did you just hear how the mechanic works and decided to apply your advanced autism to it without really knowing how it plays out?
Game hands you a ton of rolls for free often like the famous roulettes so you still get to roll a good amount plus any free SSR tickets you might get. The only change is that you won't be blindly rolling everything you have on hand every month and can afford to plan out what characters to go all in for and guarantee for yourself which is extremely nice to have and why an ever growing amount of games followed suit with their own version of the system for their own games.

The easiest way for a F2P to spark in granblue for example is to obviously help themselves with the roulettes for a discounted spark too considering the free 10-roll periods happen like three times a year. And there's also the option to like, not limit yourself to sparks only because the system is for those characters you really want to go hard for and nobody is going to blame you if you want to toss a few rolls on a gacha for fun.

There's really little to zero downsides to the guarantee systems that keep popping up in popular or relevant games because they're meant to help the player. But if the player is a masochist that likes wasting his rolls and getting nothing out of them or sees having to spend longer than a week without pressing the roll button an arcane and weird hoop the company is making him jump through then I guess it'd be really bad for that person.

EX maps give ridiculous amounts of experience points for Tempest Stone as long as you can do above 6 waves, then stick to normal maps with skip tickets. You can get an EX ticket a day from the daily clear event stage 9.

Eitherway just get Tempest Stone to gold 40 because Renkiden jewelia cannot be leveled up normally.

Decided to try experiencing the original Mysterious Glass House Event in EN FKG since it's running right now and I wanted to see what the Case Files were like. Felt that it was strange that I didn't get any dialogue choices when I realized that there are none. Nutaku couldn't port over dialogue choices for the Event. In fact, they seemed to have translated the dialogue for all the different options and crammed them together. So you will read from one option to the next in a very jarring manner.

Glad to see that Nutaku is still at the expected level of quality.

No, h-scenes are usually pretty bad too. All the bloom scenes I’ve done have had laughable amounts of spelling errors. And they still do the thing with (), so reading scenes like Epidendrum (Swimsuit)’s is a nightmare.

Most of the quality seems to go to the once-in-a-blue-moon translated CSQs, and even those are variable. If not outright broken, like Helenium’s bloom CSQ, which I had to pester them twice for it to finally be fixed.

There are some cool individual kits, but in today's "every boss worth caring about will oneshot you" meta, nothing holds a candle to damage mitigation.

Speaking of which, I'm happy to see White Clover got barrier for her RG. I hope her artist is happy, he's got a really cute old shoujo kind of style. These crazy lolicon devs actually went and gave Usagigoke both dodge and barrier too, making her the best support in the game and the second-best rainbow overall, the first of course being Mimosa.

Fuuko at the very bottom mid worked for me, but Ramii already took off a huge chunk of her health off when she popped up right and dodged the rocket punch thanks to Rinne's buff.
