Most of the event missions are straightforward, if you click the button it takes you to whatever you need to do, but capture2text usually does anything else I can't understand.
If you sit down and do everything once you'll take care of most time relevant things, but the one that may be a concern is collecting envelopes to unlock stages in the big event area. You may end up time-gated since you arrived late, but they're in the shop for crystals if you're desperate.
Honestly mate I'm bad at being helpful, I think if you just get stuck in you'll quickly see only a couple things are of any real relevance after completing them once.

You don't get multiple drop bonuses for stacking dupes so it's always better to merge them. Just use stat sticks or merged 3* for the character instead.

Portrait 5* are hidden artes. At x combo the character will shine and then you can activate a much stronger version of the arte.

The weapon with the portrait is a 5* arte. When they are used after a certain number of hits in a chain, you can use a hidden version that is not only stronger but also has a different animation. In Claire's case, the hidden version of Dive is activated when used 6 or later in a chain.

Feel free to fuse same weapons for higher event bonus and stats unless you really have nothing to replace them with at the moment.

During events you're gonna want to set your event characters with all their 4* + 5* for max bonuses like this, but this isn't necessarily the best setup for all characters afterwards. In this game while 4* give better bonuses and stats, the arte itself isn't always good. There are some very good 3* worth keeping and using over the 4* once the event is over. In Claire's case she has 2 aerial movements and a heal. You aren't going to use her heal later on but might be useful now since you're just starting. Her 3* aerials aren't bad but they're a bit clunky to use. Hard to do long combos since Claire tends to end up flying over the enemies and missing. I'd recommend to not sell them even if you don't use them since they won't be available anywhere else once the event ends.

Alisa is fun but very CC hungry. There is not much room for error and it's hard to react fast enough when an enemy has been knocked down to trigger the fast Devour. Excellent range to compensate though.

If you overwrite the existing account on the terminal with a different account you have the code for it shouldn't overwrite or delete the account but you should test it yourself to be safe since they might have changed it. The only way you could screw yourself out of an account is if you accidentally overwrite the account saved on your google games account with a blank/level4 one and don't have a transfer code saved as a backup.

I imagine it's going to be similar to the Kantai Collection anime where it has a protag of some sort (probably Gourmet Edifice) then everyone else just kind of shows up throughout the series, one guild per episode for example. There's enough guilds to squeeze them all in to a 1 cour series with 1 or 2 guilds per episode making a cameo appearance. I really liked Ayane's episodes personally. I didn't really care about her at first but for some reason I ended up falling hard for her and thought her episodes for her normal version and her xmas version were extremely cute.

If you like them enough sure. Mirror and 5* dupes will increase their orb count in tower as well as event currency which is always good, specially the orbs when you're starting out and don't have enough characters to clear it easily. Clearing the tower every month will give you over 200 diamonds and once you're able to run until 40F without struggling you can start farming for very useful character skills to make your life in the game much easier. Unlike regular Tales characters you won't be able to obtain their stuff anymore once the event is over so you better be satisfied with what they have.

It's recommended for Alisa to have 3* Drive Twister Alpha equipped, the fast spin that can cause knockback, the other 3* are not needed. Claire can combo 3* Firm Flip + 3* Victorious Soul if you want more air meme variety but she already does well enough with three 4* + 5*.
