I've always beaten them easily with Phoenix. No strategy needed other than dodging. Kallen has iframes on her branch attack, pretty useful when you're surrounded like that so she could had done it if they kept rushing at you. Silver Wolf's summon works wonders for cases like this too, and if you have Hekatoncheir cannon on her you can create a space-time deceleration pocket on demand for even better support.

They use the same equipment and drops will be the same. The one you have is a newer alternate, usually they have their weapon preference swapped compared to the original or they might do more element damage. The main change is their SP skill, it usually has a different usage than the original, like being a ranged attack instead of melee, but I think you can select which one you use.

Kaede's original outfit is 200% better however.

I can't find it in myself to skip hearts. I'm down to 40 right now and it takes 30 just to craft a new unique equipment + a bunch more to upgrade so they're a pretty valuable commodity. Luna Tower will help alleviate this a little bit with an extra full heart piece or two but when the entire roster is getting unique equipment it's hard to stop grinding hearts. And if they're planning on making dumb equipment like Eriko's or Peco's then it's very important to keep a decent stockpile on hand.

The issue with Cygames "end of the month has higher rates and limiteds" model is that outside of that time period, they aren't making any money except for maybe a few whales buying stamina to farm gear but that probably only happens when new tiers of gear are released now. I'm personally on JP because I have a lot of shit there and don't plan to move even though the nice guy that translated the story and the events disappeared in the move between /vg/ and /jp/. I'm not going to shit on global because I don't have an account there so I don't really have the details and can't really give an informed opinion based on experience but everyone who I personally know that has played global hated it so I'd advise you to avoid that server at the very least so start on the SEA server if you'd like to have the game on English or JP if you can read Japanese. I played every server of the game beside global but gave it a try around last month and yeah it's pretty bad.
They don't even give the same rewards as other servers like for exemple it's currently running the summer event and you can't farm Vampire Theresa at all.
SEA seem much better and it's almost at the same update as CN already.

That's all she does though. Her UB is unusable, her positioning is awkward in regards to her own defences and, if your team gets low, she blows up too. Akari is a supplement to SKaryl who also debuffs while also providing MATK to everyone and a heal from her UB too which is very useful if you're running without a tank and/or a healer. Anna may be able to replace Ilya in later stages if only as a debuffer since Ilya is very hit or miss but outside of that I can't personally see much use for her, especially since there's not enough effective magic users to utilise a second team yet.

those rates work for shironeko because of how often new characters are released, how little you need to fully invest in one, how fast the powercreep is, and how many farmable rolls they give out.

this keeps the f2p players relatively happy and the constant powercreep forces you to change up characters often so you're less likely to burn out from using the same ones for months on end although exceptions like the we mc do exist. they also charge the whales an extra 1000 yen per 10 roll, have people giving them money to gamble on pick 10 tickets, and make money off merchandise and things like their ccg.

My gems is only about 900 now After I spent all of them earlier this month on Garga gacha. Getting new characters in Shironeko is too RNG for me. I spent 2500 gems for Onsen2 but only got Ciela just because there is a guaranteed one while I got original Sheryl in 250 gems.

Time skip, the awakening of Sirin caused a massive houkai eruption and destroyed most of human civilization, the few cities that didn't get hit by the disaster became the last shelters of mankind. The whole gang was branded as traitors by Otto and went into hiding. Himeko and Kiana are MIA.
Grey serpent, a hacker and intel seller of Arc City leaked a security photo, showing Kiana among the crowd. This pushed the now wanted valkyrja team into action, as they tried to get the info and reunite with Kiana.
At the same time, Otto also sent Rita to acquire the intel, she killed the grey serpent and set up a trap. After blowing up half of the city security robots, Theresa, Mei and Bronya acquired the database grey serpent left behind, which turned out to be a loli cyborg with a computer brain. Rita showed up and revealed her own knight class battlesuit before she hijacked the database, she disappeared after short fight, and left the reformatted cyborg behind for the gang to deal with.
That's all for chapter 9 and the extra story.

Good game, you can go casual or tryhard and do every event. URs are easy to get in events. The only bad thing is that you need both of the pair to get the boost (and it can be an UR and SR for example, and its harder to get X SR)
