Anyway, it's turned based and despite above, they usually give freebies every month if you grind the event. Not at all. The only really bad thing about the gacha is that you don't get enough S units because the rate's only 12%. A units are just flat-out not worth using seriously. You use them for stat cap increases (occasionally they have a stat that caps higher than the S/SS so you have to use them to push it up) or to pass off a cheap skill onto a better version so they have something "standard-issue" that won't shear off their BP stock but do more damage than the attack command.

Sparking is 150 rolls. You get 1 free roll on the general gacha a day that leads to a guaranteed SS multi ticket, and for limited gachas you can use the accumulated points to just buy the rateup SS if you didn't get it. I think the total rateup percentage is 40%.

Daily missions are 50/day, weekly missions are 500/week. You can't even do the weekly missions right now unless you've cleared chapter 5 and grinded up enough techs to enhance and the materials to enhance them so it might be a week or two before you can get to that. As for login bonuses, they're pretty nice about it. The normal 7-day login bonus is 500.

The devs are listening to player input, though, and one of the biggest complaints is that weekly missions force you to choose between progress and gems, so chances are this is going to change at some point.

Unironically the reddit discord if you can't speak Japanese. Try to judge character and find a guild that isn't haha toodles!! level of randumb and find a guild with the requirements you want. If you can communicate with Japanese, its better to join a JP guild .

Top 500 usually needs no communication, just don't be a deadweight. Top 250 starts needing communication to coordinate and keep the rank while above that needs fully organized play and calling out your attacks.

Chink Honkers updated to 2.9. Main content is the rest of chapter 9 (not available until March), Chinese New Year stuff, a new S rank Rita and an awakened form of Assault Mei. Grind for some new materials, spend them to upgrade her core level, reach level 3 (out of 6) to get her new costume. It's all permanently available so no rush.

Not sure what the special stages are for the CNY event, but you'll be able to get a free Fuka costume. Himeko and Mei have new costumes, but those are both paid. You can also get a Houkai core fragment, 3 equipment tickets, 2 special gacha tickets and some gems during the event.
There's also a cute little public room to hang around in and do pic related.
