Sol Press already announced that they are working on a RPG maker title and that it's almost ready to be announced. I wouldn't be surprised if almost all companies next year announce at least 1 gameplay title just going by Evenicle's and Kagura Game's success.

There are a few issues here or there that might be preventing more gameplay titles from being localized. The bigger gameplay focused companies might be xenophobic, or localization companies might consider scripting for gameplay titles too much of a hassle. I think it's more of the former.

That said, Kagura Games has been doing smaller HRPGs for some time, and even Sol Press seems to be localizing one. That's a pretty lucrative market especially since Steam seems to let practically all of them through (Though Mao Mao Discovery Team was banned, so they aren't entirely safe). Even if Steam doesn't let one in, they probably sell well enough in other stores to still be worth it.

I'm saying this because sky & heart last survival, the bonus game from the baldr masterpiece collection that got released last fucking year, runs on the baldr heart engine that is a straigh upgrade to the sky one and has all the modern day features sekai could possibly want. said game also LITERALLY has every single unit from baldr sky in it, with their entire movesets, and I'm pretty sure it also has every single sky map in it. It would be incredibly easy to remake sky from the ground up on a gameplay front.

There isn't any confirmation from sekai project yet but i have alread told plenty of people that the reason why we haven't seen any news about baldr sky is because there is some problems with securing the voice acting for the english version, apparently the voice actors want compensation for this new release and are actively pursuing legal actions to protect their own performance from being used twice without being paid.

His localization quality is indeed decent, especially if when factoring his speed. However, it is his localization choices that tend to draw objection. I have yet to see anyone who favors his localization choices for Rance, and his initial localization choices for the Venus Blood title he is working on were resoundingly rejected. Something like the Spanish here also is one of those things which seems like a clever idea to deal with a common localization problem, but then falls flat since the average reader knows far less Spanish than the average Japanese reader knows English. No matter how "creative" the solution might have seen, the typical reader is much more likely to think that adding random Spanish is a bad idea and have no idea what is being said, instead of thinking "wow, the translator found a creative solution to this problem and I enjoyed seeing it and not understanding it".

He reasons out to himself each of his localization choices, but tends to come up with things that no audience will actually like. He can explain why he prefers fiend/archfiend over the existing term all he wants, but that still is going to convince any reader that it sounds better when reading it in his Rance localizations. Honestly it is no real problem back when he was translating, as they are on a take it or leave it basis, but it seems like a poor choice for a commercial translator working to localize products for said audience.

Honorifics are a somewhat separate matter as the localization community is filled with individuals who have their own thoughts on how they should be localize. Although a moege by a company who has Imouto Paradise as one of its best selling titles will likely draw an audience that would prefer the inclusion of honorifics, even if a fair number of translators would argue that it would lead to a worse product.

As another example, XSEED replaces English with French in Shinovi and Estival Versus, and it's extra humorous when the audio is in English but the text is in (untranslated) French. You could argue that the original intention is that you shouldn't be able to read the text anyways, but that's stretching it a little since the average Jap should know some English by default while not every English speaker would know some Spanish (unless you're an American on one of the border states)

It is generally true that most complaints against Arunaru are relatively minor compared to some other tl catastrophes, even modern ones (a lot of projects that have to do with NISA for example). SR is a lot less important when it comes to the actual script. In fact most Rancefags pretty much agree it's the worst entry in the series as far as the writing goes. I might not even bother replaying it cause god knows I already spent too much time on that game.

Honestly, if Rance VI is anything to judge by Sengoku Rance won't have that much in the way of problems aside from the usual nameshit. What it will have though is a much larger volume of players thanks to its sheer popularity, and an audience very familiar with the Takajun script, so it will likely generate a much larger amount of discussion on the issues present (even if it is just name shit) than a generic moege like Suki Suki.

Yuuki autist will save this horrible TL, MG should really give him a shout out for fixing it.

It's obviously no Evenicle, but it managed to peak at 65 concurrent users on day 4, and is on track to still peak at 30 concurrent users now on day 8. Like Evenicle, it seems to be putting up bigger numbers in the West based on the times of its daily peaks.

Speaking of Evenicle, its weekly peak was 74 concurrent users last weekend and 56 concurrent users today. It should rebound once again going into the weekend as it has regularly done. Since the start of the previous sale, its daily peaks still haven't dropped below its low point of 46 on November 20th. Needless to say, it remains a strong seller for MG, and it will remain a strong seller for the foreseeable future. Along those lines, KoiKuma and Sanoba Witch have also remained remarkably constant, with both titles generally being in the 40-50 range for their recent daily concurrent user peaks.
