Sort of regretting not checking out this thread earlier, but I don't mind. I talked to a Japanese guy who had a really nice Miku scarf and a guy from Finland and from Switzerland. So cool to see people coming from all over, though to be honest I dunno if it was worth it.

Overall I really enjoyed the event. My only complaint is that the music from instruments was a bit too loud and I wanted to hear the singers voice much more.

The glowstick swining is really fun and nice. I wish I had gotten a seat where I had enough space to stand up. If I did that I would have been blocking the view of someone so that wasn't ok. But I really wanted to dance most of the time, it was so much fun.

Acoustics could've been better. My seat was on the 2nd level diagonally of the stage. Some songs were unbalanced (vocals too soft, music too loud).

I was sitting just in front of you. During most of the songs I could hear the whole arena rattling with a loud vibration on my eardrums as if I was sitting in a huge tin can. Bad venue and also bad luck, I suppose.

This won't ruin Vocaloid for me - that's an entirely different story. Vocaloid is very personal to me. I will think twice before going to a show again, though. I went looking for something, but I guess I'm looking in the wrong place.

I sat in the third row in the center but even there you couldn't hear the vocals sometimes. But it honestly didn't matter, because the band alone was clear to hear and fucking superb. And I don't think the crowd was dead, it was just really unbalanced. Some parts were relatively quiet and others lost their minds during the whole concert. It was pretty unpredictable. I can tell the first three rows were weirdly reserved, at least in my block but the other rows behind it were much more active. The glass sceen is also very visible from the front and ruins the illusion quite a bit unless when they added the star background, then it was much nicer.
Also be sure to choose a place where you can see other people's glow sticks. It was hard to move it with the crowd sometimes.

Reading the comments there were a bunch of faggots who attended the concert but were completely disinterested in the whole event, complaining when people next to them were chanting too loudly or playing on their mobile. The gold being that some guy went full weeb dressing up and Miku completely with blue hair then had his arms crossed during the whole concert.

Light stick waving is based on the music, just get lost in the music and do whatever feels right since that's all it is really. The only tricky things are chants but you'll learn them after one chorus

Not really. Just google the genre you want to hear and put vocaloid next to it, google will show you lists of famous songs for said genre.
But vocaloid being what it is, the sheer mass of things to find is impossible to really grasp.
Just always make sure to look up the composers you like so you can easily navigate through vocaloid.

Also, if you're really looking for a place to start, maybe go with the famous early composers and especially those who either returned to vocaloid or never stopped making music with the software. I think understanding how vocaloid became what it is today is a very big part of the whole culture of art and participation.

Again, google is your friend. Vocaloid is filled with stories. Early vocaloid music defined lots of things but even after that things kept on going further with it.

Early incredible important vocaloid songs would be defining Miku songs like packaged by kz and innocence by KazuP. Especially innocence had a big impact in the formation of vocaloid culture. And of course, ryo. If we're talking composers: ryo, kz, oser project, deco*27, 40mP

You can also always check the vocaloid rankings on NND, not just past ones.

You took me back a while now as I was removing the background. I probably first started using Photoshop to make signatures for people on online fora, back when they were a thing. I kept doing random edits and putting together things I liked. I even had an online profile at some point where I would put my edited pictures. Eventually I started frequenting 4chan. I would do lots of edits for people on /a/ and /w/. I even did some vectors in Inkscape. looks like I still have them around. Eventually I moved to GIMP and used it even at work a few times, even though I write software for a living. Did you order with a company that has a physical office in London? Regardless, find out the support phone number and call there. If you can go in person, try that. It's usually easier to get people on your side in person in my experience.

Another thing that might be useful is if you can show the receipt for the tickets you bought, or some other form of documentation that you own the tickets, but you don't have them on you.
