I feel like we had this exact same discussion before several topics back, but you need to just look around and you'll easily find plenty of them that do. Though I will admit that as YouTubers or streamers in general go, you're going to see more of those games or stuff like Minecraft/LoL (or right now the new Pokemon is the big one) because that's what brings in the views. But just today I've watched one play Inside, one play The Colonist, and there's one on right now playing Tokyo Jungle, so there's definitely variety out there.

I couldn't care less if they put effort in maps that are meant for the first few months of play. There simply isn't any content for "endgame people" that's worth a damn except (few) 10+ majins.
Literally the same problem as Kamihime and many other games, there is no challenge past a certain point. I can one-turn ragnarocks now. Advents feel like a joke because of that. Raids were always a joke because you could always onepunch them. GO is also autoable on element. Tower would be a step in the right direction, although the retry limit is annoying, if it wasn't for the fact that you don't really have to clear it to get most of the reward. Same for the dummy challenge.
Back to Aigis, actual effort should be invested in creating a map hard enough for even experienced player to struggle, but not something that simply "requires" a certain rare mechanic to win (and you're fucked if you don't have it, like Barbatos) or some other easy cop out. The only alternative would be a drastic rebalance which would, say, cut the range of most overpowered units. But that will never happen of course.

Aigis anniversary stream announced a lot of nice QoL but didn't address my biggest issue with the game.
The dastard connection error code 400 that triggers at the end of every run of a stage where I finally get the drops I want and then getting jewed out of half my charisma/stamina anyways.
When a map gets interrupted before it's completed you should get a full refund instead, it's extremely annoying.

Unless it's a gaijin-only issue in which case fuck me I guess, ain't got nothing I can do about it or no one to complain to.

They do fire slowly, but their attack is insane and can punch through most enemy defense because of it. Pick up Rosel when she comes around at the next revival anyway, because she has triple attack on her SAW that stacks with her 30% Pursuit passive and her damage potential is insane, especially for a free unit. Socie is good, too, because she'll shred most defense like paper.

Pirates aren't a bad option, it's just that for basically the whole life of the game they've been overshadowed by other ranged units unless they have a unit-specific gimmick that's worth fielding one for. As a whole, archers and monster slayers are better first for those slots. I can't speak for the specific pirates that are worth using, though, because I don't have any.

Anyways, there wouldn't be even an inkling of a hint of "abuse" if a sandbox system were simultaneously implemented which allowed players to run maps without paying any resources in exchange for zero rewards. Then there would be no reason whatsoever for anyone to intentionally disconnect to save charimsa/stamina. Such features would encourage players to spend more time actually playing and enjoying the game, which would obviously increase their enjoyment and thus help to stymie boredom/frustration.

The only reason the devs would be against these suggestions is a fear of losing profit, because such features would be perceived as discouraging players from spending SCs on refills. However, both the other anon's proposal and my own would only truly discourage refilling for botched, disconnected, or novelty runs, none of which are significant revenue streams. The vast majority of SCs spent on refills are spent in the pursuit of farming, which would remain unaffected -- even then, refills as a whole are peanuts compared to other SC sinks. Plus, the goodwill from a pro-consumer move coupled with the rekindled spark of enjoyment brought on by actually be able to play the game without fretting over 'wasted' resources could very well drive increased profits over the old 'squeezing blood from a stone' method. But I'm not a suit and tie with a dollar sign for a head.

Assuming the server is still up, it does. The game logs your results right before it shows the results screen. If you want to test, go run a map and close it at the results screen, then go see if what you got as drops is in your inventory. It will be.

Yes if people can't clear the content without having all of the strong units it will certainly push people away. If the majority of the dmm player base cared about difficulty clickers and even things like fkg/kc wouldn't be nearly as popular as they are. They want to appeal to as many people as possible, so at the end of the day aigis/kh/other dmm games with some gameplay are always going to be pretty shallow waifu collectors.
When aigis launched it was normal to not have any of that. Dmm 18+ wasn't nearly as big back then and no one was planning for 5+ years of uptime. Also there's no guarantee adding any of that would offset costs. After 5 years the player base is probably not growing and more likely declining.

IIRC, Sabein is one of the top rampers in the game, still. He just has a really slow start, so that mostly checks out during longer maps. Someone else probably has the UP chart.

To be perfectly fair, the current regular gacha lineup has the same problem because they removed all the old gold units that were common classes and tanked the silver rate. It's one of my biggest complaints with Aigis right now. My bottleneck for raising units is AW fodder.

Wurm and Sieglinde.
Mainly because you can drop both of them for just their skills and withdraw them rather than actually have to bother using them. Sieglinde's passive also gives her a spot on your team even if you're not going to deploy her ever.

Kyuubi could be considered good too if you don't actually have any decent tanks but I'd say she's more on a case by case basis based on your current units since being a strong tank isn't exactly anything unique (Although she is one of the best once fully ramped)

Granted my problem with Gusion was not having my Ema be able to tank the right lane entirely on her own at LV10, but I would've figured Sylvia with Lei Mei, Sarah and Prince's buffs would keep her from taking much if any damage once she fully ramped up.
I think I also leave her in range of Elyse for the extra DEF buff and Estelle for the MR debuff which Sylvia needs because I don't think she can poke Gusion to death even within 80 seconds with his high MR.

Not that I give a shit about Majin LV11+, feels like a waste of Charisma when Christias just manifest out of thin air in dozens in your inventory while you look away, but putting more valuable prizes behind those milestones would probably piss people off as this is a single player game.

It's incredibly easy to get SCs as a new player so you should be able get a guaranteed or two if you go full autist for the last part of the popularity gacha which is basically the 3 best blacks in the game.
If you don't mind rerolling it's also great to do that because you can easily reroll the electric zombie who will basically steam roll you through most content for easier SC gathering.

This is assuming you don't mind starting a dead game.

Kanpani gives an infinite roll every year. On top of a shit load of rolls and other goodies.

GBF gave like 230 rolls at the minimum and a chance to get more on top of daily gacha currency.

I guess the biggest difference is that these rewards are only for the anni period whereas in Aigis the ticket rewards are permanent additions.

Biggest example is Granblue, which is playable on DMM now. Aigis has also moved to mobile proper so it has to compete against big boy games.
Granblue gives out something like 230-400 free rolls, a sunstone, dama bar, gold brick, and some crystals. The dama bar and gold brick are more valuable than any item that exists in Aigis, for example.

Shu-Xian (Not man enough to risk my 2/3 dupe chance on current pug). Got a lot of dupes from my 10 roll tickets too so I'm waiting for the last one before I use it so I don't get fucked. Also wanna try for the lolicept jester so there's dupe chances there as well. Assuming I rolled her there's quite a few who I'd like as my second choice so it's hard to really say until after all my rolls are done.

I believe lolicept will single handedly save this game and make it last another anni if they keep hiring him.
