Even then, I agree with most of what he wrote.
Though the only thing I found really interesting in FSN myself was Shirou, or rather his evolution.
But I honestly believe it could have been much better done.

In fact the best things about FSN is not the stories but its characters. That's why it sucked because there were many undeveloped characters.

I finished F/SN yesterday, actually.

I greatly enjoyed it.

Being empathetic, I've become incredibly connected to Sakura's character, and the Heaven's Feel scenes 「Gem Sword Zelretch」 and 「Sisters (VII)」 are the among the most incredible scenes I have ever witnessed in eroge.

But then, being terribly empathetic, I'm attracted to "sappy" and "emo" shit. Melodrama is liquid gold, here.

Needless to say, Yume Miru Kusuri ripped my heart out and ate it.

I liked it until the first H-scene.
I started laughing uncontrollably and deleted it from my computer. God, it was so forced and awkward. It felt 100% pasted in. Hilarious, but not worth playing for anymore.

Best and only good thing in FSN is Shirou vs. Archer in UBW. The music and voices, the frustration of Archer, his cutting words hurting Shirou and Shirou's comeback makes it the most manly, emotion jerking scene in the VN. The rest of the scenes were just dumb powerlevels.
