Ever since Little Busters! was released, the standard/Japanese-related
forums have been begging for a translation. In most cases, and this is
just my opinion, this was because of the brand name. Almost everyone
in the VN-scene has heard of Key, almost all in the anime-scene have
watched Kanon, AIR, and/or CLANNAD (although granted, this is also down
to the creative skills of Kyoto Animation). Even I bought LB! because
of the brand name.
It sickens me to think that people will just blindly read this game then
chuck it away. And that's what I believe will happen... especially if
LB!-EX is translated.

The people I've talked to who have played LB!-EX have said the new routes

Reasons for not translating Little Busters! EX

In the early days of the project, after we went public, many people
asked me why I was not translating Ecstasy. Back then, I just made up
random excuses.

Back when I started, only the original was released, and that was the
version I had. It's that simple.

When I actually started, I hadn't even finished the game; In fact, I had
found the game so inspiring and brilliant at that point that I felt,
no matter what, that it should be translated.

From a technical point of view, there are even more things that stop us
from translating LB!-EX.
I'm not a very good reverse engineer, in fact I'm using someone else's
tools for very basic (and incomplete) access to the scripts. Using the
same tools does not work for LB!-EX, and I don't know what will and I
can't try to make my own.
