i would argue that it's actually better to watch new shows. when you rewatch a show, there's not much motivation for you to pay attention and actually try to figure out what people are saying since you already know what happens and can follow along anyway just based on your memory. when you watch a new show for the first time, however, you'll be more likely to pay attention to the dialogue since that's your only path to figuring out the plot (besides whatever surface understanding you can glean from the visuals and such).

work between 8-12 hours a day so I don't have as much time as I like. Usually, around 6am I do a few pages of my Genki workbook or put on a podcast of aJapanese show. (terrace house probs). IF I get a break from work, I work on lingodeer or message some folks on Tandem (kind of like hello talk). After work, I hit the books studying whatever it having trouble with(grammar atm). I put on a good podcast again and go do some Japanese vocab drills. I also practice my speaking and listening skills. When I am off work I treat it as a half day study session starting at 6 or 7 am and ending around 12 or 1pm Those days consist of Genki, JFZ, Flashcards, heavy Japanese drills and talking with native speakers.
