Pretty much never tech against Ciel. She'll just Ex-Halo you for your troubles. You'll eat the extra damage. It's not as bad as Nanaya's tech punishing though. Len's not great on the tech punishes. You can generally tech towards her without too many problems unless they have the spacing perfect. Her As are just too slow to turn around if she needs to, and she pretty much can't tech punish a straight up hop except with the ex-ice, which most people won't be watching for usually.

Okizeme is baisically the little mind game you play when someone is knocked down and getting up.

Are you going to poke low? Are you going to come in from the air? Maybe empty jump in to feign a High and actually poke low?

Oki is important to winning, and different characters have different options. Some have much better options than others. (Ex. Sacchin's 4 way cross up, Cheiru's corner 50/50 combos)

They don't have to be elaborate. They can even be as simple as jumping over their knocked down body, and back dashing and hitting high, crossing them up (Kouma does this nicely with his j.C)

Ciel is beatable for Nero, you just need to be extremely good. His ciel is just mashy, taking advantage of some BS, but a good ciel will probably get perfects off you. Your nero is not solid, you have not practiced any blockstrings at all or any situational BNBs, and your execution is weak.

CL's not even that bad for Nero. It's just more of a momentum game for that matchup than most. She doesn't have a good way out of his zoo, but he doesn't have a particularly good way to get out of her pressure either, but it's not any worse than the other speedy characters. She lacks range on her quick attacks and even her default bunked has crap for range, which just leaves an open ex-hiero as her best escape option.

Playing a good Len is like playing oki the entire game. She has amazing priority and moves for every situation. Her j.b and j.c are both some of the best air attacks in the game and her crossup off j.2c is almost impossible to avoid if you can pull it off. She also has a teleport to get out of corner traps, and her cats are great setups.

She's really hard to use though because her damage output is horrible and many of her moves leave her hugely open to punishment if you miss on them. You're lucky to break 4000 even using meter against anybody but the characters big enough for her to IAD loop throw. She also has almost no corner pressure, only two very slow low hits and one even slower high hit, so she has a terrible time getting past a turtle, and with a slow dash, she can't rely on the throw to guard break either.

TL;DR, opposite of a momentum character. Great in the open field. Terrible in corners.

I'm just bad with Sion in general and bad against jC. As for advice, mostly with Nero you're going to want to block after you get knocked down, every so often a forward dash is also good. Also zoo is always good unless you're against a V Sion or Ciel.

As you continue learning, you'll find more ways to control space and maneuver around.

As far as Hisui goes, 5C is great and has monster clash frames, but it's super punishable if people know how to shield/dodge/avoid it. Try to make them block stuff-fu or j.C and continue pressure from there.

And if someone is in blood heat, depending on the player, they really badly want to ex-shield you, so beware of super-jumping in and attacking directly.

In the corner, you can also use it as an empty cancel and then throw them. Another easy mixup on blockstrings is tossing in a 5a whiff before you animal or 4C.
