Looking at what the length of the actual gun is you're right. At 11.5 inches long it seems like the model is closer to 1:4 scale than 1:3. Not that big of a deal for me and I still think they look awesome.
It's actually probably a better fit for my girl since the Obitsu bodies are a little bit shorter than DD bodies.

I had to back out of an auction the other day when two anons started bidding among each other trying to get her and it drive the price beyond getting an entire dollfie with clothes. You can do a bit of mixing though if you want to. This picture is my girl and she's a Parabox Luna head and an Obitsu 50cm body with Angel Philia Type A bust and Type F lower torso and thighs. She's about the same bust size as Azone's I bust and pretty much all of the clothing made for their AZO2 bodies fits her well.

Would it be possible to put a Pure Neemo head on a 1/6 Obitsu body? I just want more articulation points, there are so many poses the regular neemos can't accommodate and it's kind of a hindrance.

If not, any suggestions cheaper than springing for a 1/3 doll?

Shouldn't be a problem so long as the faceup and any blushing is properly sealed and the doll and clothing are allowed to dry well after so there's no chance for mold to grow.

You'll see a lot of people take pics of their dolls in rivers/pools, water is fine as long as you dry them properly so there's no rust on the screws/mold in them. Oily stuff is bad for sealants, resins, and plastics (which is why faceup guides always say to never use them) iirc.
