Okay, so, in regards to Virgilia actually being a fucking bitch with ulterior motives, when did this "plan" shit actually start happening? Beato goes all fucking KEIKAKU DOORI and shit right when Battler's convinced she's cleaned up her act, but when exactly did this plan start? With the way Beato hesitated when Battler confronted her with her IT WAS ALL AN ACT shit, it seemed like at least a small bit of the mercy had been authentic. Based on some spoiler screens for ep 4, which I'm avoiding playing, Beato really is a batshit insane cunt with no real soul. That's a little confusing, though, considering Beato was acting all merciful and forgiving while proceeded with the sacrifices even though it wasn't in front of Battler anyway.

So.... Virgilia was sealed inside of Kumasawa, right? She then woke up when the Stake Sisters moved in to kill her during the first twilight. Was that part of the act right from the beginning? I mean, Beato DID kill Virgilia. But then again, Virgilia still existed as "a piece outside of the board." Did Virgilia and Beato decide to trick Battler BEFORE their battle? If so, then that means their "magic" fight was all bullshit from the get-go and it was just a (convincing) mock battle.

...... Fuck. This shit really is "deeper" than I'd expected.

She really isn't a sadist, any more than she's still a kid in a witch's body. Like the vase example, since that could be fixed anytime because of her/Virgilia's actions, she never learns the consequences of doing something wrong, since in her mind 'everything can be restored, so it's okay'.

Just like Rosa (and Eva herself) finally grew out of the torturing butterflies with the spider thing, Eva-Beatrice is still in that phase.

The fact that Battler remembers counts and remembers all the bad things she's done, even when the evidence is gone, surprises her, since everyone else around her is either her servant or just apathetic about anything other than the result of the game.

I think that Virgilia did actually try to take down Beatrice, but after she lost, she became Beatrice's pawn. So I guess the entire KEIKAKU started right after Battler destroyed her closed room chain.

But then again, since there are actually three different levels to the story:
1. What's happening on the island.
2. The battle between Battler and Beatrice.
3. The battle between Beatrice with Lambdadelta and Bernkastel

Since at the highest level, Beatrice's power apparently comes from Lambdadelta, Beatrice's story with Virgilia could just be complete bullshit, so her plan could have started from the very beginning of the 3rd "game".

Probably, the only thing we can know for sure is we cannot trust anything except that Beatrice IS trying to get Battler to forfeit.
